The event brings together professionals, businesses and innovators from architecture, interior design, construction, smart living and AI technology to explore practical AI implementations, smart living innovations and next-generation architectural design.

The event unites architects, interior designers and tech innovators to explore AI-driven spatial planning, smart living and sustainable, human-centric architectural design.

It connects over 18 curated businesses with serious industry players, providing a crucial B2B environment designed to drive market growth, showcase future-ready solutions, discover emerging industry trends, connect with industry experts and gain valuable insights through exhibitions, AI-in-Action sessions and engaging expert panel discussions.

The exhibition spotlights cutting-edge construction materials, smart home solutions and AI-driven architectural design platforms.

In his welcome address, Citystage KLCC founder and showcase organiser Dennis Choy said that the objective of the event was to showcase innovative AI-driven and modern building solutions.

“Our aim is to promote knowledge sharing through industry discussions and panels, while connecting the construction, interior and smart living industry players,” he said.

“Our intention is to create networking and business collaboration opportunities, and provide a marketplace for brands, suppliers and service providers for their business growth,” he added.

Among the highlights of AI Build & Interiors Connect 2026 were the keynote talks by award-winning architect and past president of Persatuan Arkitek Malaysia (PAM) Ar. Sarly Adre Sarkum and Futureverse Technologies chief executive officer and AI transformation advisor Rajiv Mathew, offering fascinating, forward-looking insights into how artificial intelligence is disrupting design and construction in the region.

Ar. Sarly who is also the chief architecturalist and managing director of [SA]² – Sarly Adre Sarkum Architecture Sdn Bhd, gave an inspiring presentation on “Architects in the Age of AI: Relevance in the Fourth Industrial Revolution”. He focused on how architects can harness AI to become more human-centered, prioritizing empathy, ethics and design leadership.

Meanwhile, Rajiv who has over 20 years in consulting and digital transformation spoke on on practical AI adoption strategies for SMEs in the construction sector.
