Lotuss Stores (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd (Lotus’s Malaysia) has officially launched its 71st store at KSL Esplanade Mall, Klang on April 4, 2026.
Lotus’s Malaysia chief financial and property development officer Yvonne Yong said the opening marks a key milestone in the retailer’s expansion, celebrating a long-standing partnership with KSL Group.
“This opening is particularly meaningful for us as it builds on a partnership with KSL that has grown over the years since 2011.
“What makes this collaboration work is a shared approach, creating integrated environments that bring together retail, hospitality and community. That aligns very closely with how we choose our locations and plan our growth,” she said.
Yong added, “KSL Esplanade stands out as a strategic location given its strong connectivity via major roads and expressways, as well as its proximity to the upcoming LRT3 station. Combined with the surrounding residential and commercial catchment, and the hotel within the development, it offers a steady and diverse flow of customers”.

The new store offers over 9,000 products in store, including fresh produce, bakery, groceries, frozen foods, household essentials, health and beauty products and general merchandise.
Meanwhile, Lotus’s Malaysia chief operations officer Neil Gurusamy said the new store was designed to serve the daily needs of the surrounding community by offering affordable, quality essentials.
“We’ve brought together a wide range of essentials in a format that is easy to shop, accessible and focused on delivering quality at affordable prices,” he said.
The new Lotus’s Malaysia store at KSL Esplanade Mall is strategically positioned to serve a diverse customer base, including families, local residents, shoppers and hotel guests staying at the adjacent KSL Esplanade Hotel.
“We see three key groups here, families who prioritise value for their household needs, visitors who are looking for convenience during their stay, and busy individuals who want quick and efficient shopping.
“Our role is really to bring these groups together by offering a store that delivers value, convenience and flexibility in one place,” said Neil.
Lotus’s strengthens affordability with pricing strategies designed to support everyday spending while maintaining quality.
“We recognise that customers today are very mindful of how they spend. So, our approach is to consistently deliver strong value through our product selection, our own brands, and the promotions we offer, so customers can shop with confidence,” added Neil.
To celebrate the opening, the store offers a range of promotions focus on creating buzz, encouraging foot traffic and rewarding early customers, such as discounts up to 40% and special deals on selected items like chicken and seafood.
Beyond promotions, there are also booth activities which included Lotus’s Own Brand sampling booths and a Ring Toss game, designed to create an engaging shopping experience, with participation opened to customers who spent a minimum of RM80.
