Resorts World Genting is turning up the fright factor this October as The Haunted Highlands 2026 is happening from Oct 1 to Nov 1, 2026, at the resort.
This immersive experience takes place inside the Pavilion Hall at Skytropolis Indoor Theme Park. It marks the first-ever crossover collaboration between Genting’s own spooky mascot universe, Spookadilly, and Kisah Bawah Tanah, Malaysia’s hit local animated horror-comedy series.
Throughout the month, the festival will bring a month-long celebration of immersive horror, family-friendly adventures, live entertainment, Halloween-themed treats and spooky surprises across the highlands.

One of the biggest highlights of the festivities is the Spookadilly x Kisah Bawah Tanah collaboration – a family-friendly spooky adventure featuring five quirky zones (RnR, Cahaya Apartments, Spookadilly Graveyard, Spookadilly Mansion and The Mart).
Guests will journey through five quirky zones, joining characters Bonediddy, Pocing, Zack, Sam and The Mart crew on a rescue mission to restore the chaos back into order.
The Spookadilly x Kisah Bawah Tanah is an all-ages, family-friendly event, though adult supervision is required for children. Children aged 3 and below can enter for free.
Entry tickets for this specific crossover experience are priced at RM30 per person.

Guests can also check out The Echo Asylum for an immersive horror experience taking them on a chilling journey through an abandoned 1950s mental hospital with a surgeon and lost souls across three distinct nightmare zones: Resurrection Chamber, Patient Ward, and Underground Lab & Morgue.
Entry to The Echo Asylum is restricted to visitors aged 13 years and above. The single pass for The Echo Asylum is priced at RM78.

Guests can also purchase a “Double the Fear” pass for RM90 to experience both The Echo Asylum and the Spookadilly x Kisah Bawah Tanah attractions.
The spooky theme expands far beyond Pavilion Hall. Throughout the festival, the entire resort transforms into a playground for the paranormal – spooky characters, mischievous creatures and unexpected encounters lurk around every single corner to keep guests constantly on edge and entertained.
The Halloween Parade takes to the streets every day from 6.30pm and 7.30pm, bringing music, dancing and plenty of spooky energy as the vibrant and spooky characters march from SkyAvenue to Pavilion Hall.
Over at the Skytropolis Stage, the undead come out to play with Zombie Delights, a lively, spooky live dance and music performance.
Weekend visitors can meet their favourite Haunted Highlands characters during special photo opportunities throughout the resort.
Children can also meet the Genting Highland Heroes during weekend meet-and-greets.
To keep visitors energized and immersed in the theme, Pavilion Hall is offering a spooky menu packed with creepy, quirky and playful food options, such as the BBQ Monster Meatball, Vampire Bloody Loaded Nachos, Halloween Pumpkin Soup, Devil’s Corn Dog and the Witch Hair Pasta Cheese Wheel.
For something to sip on, the Blood Bag, a novelty drink served in a medical-style IV bag, makes for a suitably spooky pick, while a selection of ice cream, sweets and snacks are available for those looking for a quick treat.
Guests can also take home a little piece of The Haunted Highlands with the Halloween Blind Box figurines, available for RM40 each.
The Halloween celebrations will reach their grand finale on Oct 31 with the Halloween Live Experience Concert 2026 at the Arena of Stars.
The one-night concert features an eclectic blend of genres alongside legendary tribute performances. Headlining the night is Taiwanese singer-songwriter Nick Chou (NickThereal), joined by Malaysian DJ and producer DJ Blink, Michael Jackson tribute performer Wang Jackson, and Leslie Cheung tribute artiste Zen Ng.
In addition to the live performances, attendees can immerse themselves in the Halloween activities with complimentary face painting, a lucky draw and access to exclusive merchandise. VIP ticket holders will receive an upgraded experience, including special curated goodies. Tickets start from RM178 with an Early Bird discount of 15% available for VIP to PS2 tickets.
Tickets and package bundles for The Haunted Highlands 2026 are available directly on their official website at Resorts World Genting.
