Home-grown kopitiam chain Hock Kee Kopitiam and Grand Millennium Kuala Lumpur, a 5-star hotel in Bukit Bintang, officially launched a strategic partnership on Oct 12, 2026 to promote authentic Malaysian kopitiam culture and local food heritage to international travellers.

The collaboration brings together two prominent brands in Bukit Bintang to promote local food heritage for the Visit Malaysia 2026–2027 campaign by integrating local culinary experiences into the hospitality journey.

Hock Kee Kopitiam is a strategic partner for Visit Malaysia 2026-2027, bringing authentic Malaysian flavours to international visitors.

As part of the first phase of this partnership, guests staying at Grand Millennium Kuala Lumpur receive an exclusive 10% dining privilege at all Hock Kee Kopitiam outlets nationwide.

Beyond the initial dining privilege, both brands are discussing the creation of jointly curated room and dining packages, as well as bringing  signature Hock Kee dishes such as its signature laksa directly within the hotel’s own dining venues.

Future initiatives may expand to include cross-brand promotions, joint marketing campaigns and tourism-related activations that connect travellers with Malaysian cuisine and culture. These collaborative projects will roll out progressively as the partnership develops.
