
In the spirit of bringing people together to share in the joy of the season, MR DIY hosted the “Raya Sama Sama” open house at Glasshouse at Seputeh, Kuala Lumpur on April 14, 2026.
The event celebrated culture, connection and community with over 300 guests, featuring performances by Alif Satar & The Locos to celebrate Hari Raya 2026.
Alif has received significant praise for role as Izzat in MR DIY ‘s Raya webfilm “Raya Sama-Sama”, and his presence brought the campaign story to life delighting fans and guests alike.
The webfilm has garnered 51 million views, reflecting its strong engagement with audiences nationwide.

Winners of the MR DIY ‘Raya Sama Sama Dance Challenge’ also joined the celebration, which also featured interactive workshops, traditional performances and a festive Raya feast.
The event finished with guests, contest winners and performers came together on the dance floor to dance to the ‘Raya Sama Sama’ song, creating a lively, celebratory atmosphere that captured the essence of togetherness at the heart of Hari Raya.
MR D.I.Y. Group vice president of marketing Alex Goh said the ‘Raya Sama Sama’ campaign is aimed at deepening emotional connections with customers through meaningful, shared experiences rather than just retail transactions.
