Located in the heart of IOI Resort City in Putrajaya, the hotel introduces a fresh, energetic take on Meetings, Incentives, Conferences and Events (MICE).

Its five themed “Fun Rooms” are designed to make business gatherings social, dynamic, and memorable, offering adaptable, tech-forward settings for everything from training sessions, corporate brainstorming to networking events.

To showcase its unique approach to business meetings and events, Moxy Putrajaya hosted its “MICE to Meet You” activation on Oct 9, 2026, welcoming around 30 corporate clients and over 50 media members. Hotel manager KK Chan and director of sales & marketing Mike Chan welcomed the guests.
Mike Chan said: “Whether for a corporate meeting, workshop, team-building session or company celebration, Moxy Putrajaya offers event organisers a refreshing alternative to the traditional corporate format. Guests were treated to Moxy’s signature coffee break spreads designed to elevate standard meeting breaks alongside guided tours of the hotel’s guestrooms, facilities and five Fun Rooms.
Fun Room 1 was arranged in a U-shape configuration, ideal for collaborative discussions, presentations and executive meetings. Featuring a fixed high table setup, the room encourages participants to engage in a more casual and interactive environment. It features a dartboard, allowing teams to play friendly matches during meeting breaks to spark creativity and recharge.
Fun Room 2 showcase a classroom-style setup for up to 18 participants on top of its distinctive hexagonal tables that can be joined or separated easily to shift between group work, workshops and lectures. The room offers flexibility for training sessions, workshops and breakout discussions. The modular layout promotes collaboration while adding a contemporary visual element to the meeting experience.
Fun Room 3 is specifically configured to balance high energy with functionality. The room’s playful colour palette and spacious layout make it ideal for social functions and celebrations. It is one of the hotel’s larger venue spaces. It accommodates up to five round tables (up to six at maximum capacity) for a vibrant Chinese banquet setting, 52 guests in a classroom setup, or 80 guests in theatre seating.
Fun Room 4 is an interactive, hands-on DIY hub designed specifically to showcase customizable team-building and corporate engagement experiences. Guests explore the Molulu Dress-Up Corner, where they personalise Moxy’s signature Molulu plush mascot in different outfits and take it home as a keepsake. At the Annjfr creative station, participants express their artistic side by colouring doodle illustrations on greeting cards and drawstring bags. Meanwhile, aspiring mixologists gather at the mocktail workshop to learn the art of crafting their own signature beverages with guidance from the hotel’s bartending team.
Finally, Fun Room 5 demonstrates how relaxation and productivity can go hand in hand. Designed as an informal brainstorming zone, the room is equipped with bean bags, board games, carrom, Snakes & Ladders, Monopoly and a full-sized pool table to encourage team relaxation and fresh ideas.
Throughout the activation, guests experienced the full spectrum of Moxy’s meetings and events offering, highlighting Moxy Hotels’ signature approach of blending unconventional, playful spaces with functional corporate events.
