Tourism Malaysia and Mydin Mohamed Holdings Berhad launched the “Jom Jalan Mydin” campaign in July 2026.
Launched on July 23, 2026, at Mydin USJ Subang Jaya, the “Jom Jalan Mydin” campaign is a strategic partnership between Tourism Malaysia and Mydin Mohamed Holdings Berhad to boost domestic travel, promote local goods, and pave the way for Visit Malaysia 2026 (VM2026) tourism drive.
The campaign runs from July 23 to September 30, 2026, offering over RM5 million in vouchers, travel packages and interactive activities at nationwide outlets.

The campaign aims to encourage Malaysians to explore the uniqueness of local destinations, while enjoying attractive shopping rewards at selected Mydin outlets nationwide.
Tourism, Arts and Culture Minister Dato Sri Tiong King Sing praised public-private collaborations such as the “Jom Jalan Mydin” campaign as proactive steps supporting national goals.
“Initiatives such as the “Jom Jalan Mydin” campaign are able to further fuel the spirit of Cuti-Cuti Malaysia among the locals. This collaboration supports the preparation of VM2026 by strengthening domestic tourism through shopping experiences that connect the community directly with local products and attractions,” he said in a statement.

Mydin managing director Datuk Wira (Dr) Hj Ameer Ali Mydin said that Mydin viewed shopping malls as community-driven environments that deliver unique experiences rather than just places to buy essentials.
“Mydin has always been committed to supporting local products by providing space for SME and SME entrepreneurs from all over the country to introduce their products. Through this campaign, we hope that Malaysians will be able to recognize, appreciate, and continue to choose Malaysian-made goods,” he said.
Among the activities of the campaign include the Treasure Hunt interactive challenges for shoppers at selected Mydin branches combining local tourism exploration with charity contributions and community support.
In addition, the campaign offers more than RM5 million worth of total rewards, including local hotel stays and cruise packages sponsored by Tabung Haji Travel (TH Travel & Services).
