Huawei Technologies (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd and industry partners unveiled the “High-Quality 10 Gbps AI Campus Network Technical and Standard White Paper” at the Huawei Malaysia IP Club 2026 conference, held on July 7, 2026 at the Huawei AI Lab & Innovation Centre, located in The Exchange 106, Kuala Lumpur.
The white paper serves as an authoritative industry reference, outlining technical standards, best practices and implementation guidance for building next-generation AI campus networks.
The framework enables enterprises to establish a robust digital foundation for the intelligent era, focussed on ultra-fast wireless connectivity, end-to-end security and autonomous network operations.
The white paper was unveiled by Ir Dr Bernard Lim, chair of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) Malaysia section; Prof Emeritus Dr Sureswaran Ramadass, chairman of the APAC IPv6 Council; Du Xianjun, deputy chief executive officer of Huawei Malaysia Enterprise Business Group; Leon Lv, director of Huawei APAC Enterprise Network Marketing & Solution Sales Dept; and Jay Wu, vice president of Huawei Malaysia Enterprise Marketing & Solution.
In his opening address, Huawei Malaysia Enterprise Business Group deputy CEO Du Xianjun reaffirmed Huawei’s commitment to its “In Malaysia, For Malaysia” approach and said Malaysia is moving swiftly into the AI era, with sectors such as finance, education, government and smart campuses requiring faster, smarter and more reliable networks.
“Today, we are willing to push the boundaries and work even harder and more closely with our customers, partners and industry experts to build Malaysia’s AI-ready digital infrastructure,” he said.
Huawei Campus Network Solution Product director David Chen presented Huawei’s Xinghe Intelligent Campus Network Solution during the conference. The solution combines AI-powered networking, ultra-fast wireless connectivity, Full-Scope Security and Autonomous Driving Network (ADN) capabilities to help organisations maximise digital productivity and build future-ready campuses.
Huawei Asia-Pacific (APAC) chief technology officer Victor Lapian outlined Huawei’s vision for Full-Scope Security, highlighting how integrated protection across digital and physical environments enable organisations to build secure, resilient and trusted campus networks.
Universiti Teknologi Mara (UiTM), Sunway Education Group and Institut Aminuddin Baki (IAB) shared their real-world deployment experiences and lessons learned with Huawei’s campus networking solutions.
Their success stories showed how intelligent campus networks can improve operational efficiency, enhance user experience and accelerate digital transformation.
The conference also featured a showcase with 31 interactive demonstration screens highlighting solutions across the education, finance and government sectors.
Together with ecosystem partners, Huawei presented joint solution demonstrations and held technical discussions with customers on the latest advancements in AI-powered campus networks and intelligent digital infrastructure.
