Kia showcases its mobility vision at KLIMS 2026

Kia Sales Malaysia unveils the Kia K4 locally at KLIMS 2026.

Kia Sales Malaysia is presenting a ‘Bold & Progressive’ vision at the Kuala Lumpur International Mobility Show (KLIMS 2026), running from June 12 to 21 at the Malaysia International Trade and Exhibition Centre (Mitec), Kuala Lumpur.

The showcase spotlights four global vehicles, including the all-new K4 sedan and three previewed electric models EV4, EV5 and PV5, alongside the newly launched Kia TotalCare long-term ownership programme.

Kia Sales Malaysia president and chief executive officer CEO Hyung Ho Kim hailed the KLIMS event as a major milestone for the brand’s presentation of its “Bold and Progressive” vision for the future of mobility in the Malaysian market.

“Through the showcase of six exceptional models, including four global products, we are demonstrating our commitment to delivering innovative mobility solutions that meet the evolving needs of customers,” he said.

Meanwhile, Kia Sales Malaysia managing director Emily Lek said the introduction of Kia TotalCare is the brand’s boldest ownership promise yet, demonstrating strong confidence in their products and services.

“The customer remains at the heart of all that we do, and we pair these efforts with the best products to highlight Kia’s long-term commitment to Malaysia,” she said.

Making its first Malaysian appearance at KLIMS 2026, the Kia K4 features the brand’s latest ‘Opposites United’ design philosophy, blending sporty aesthetics with everyday practicality.

It is powered by a 1.6-litre turbocharged T-GDI engine that produces 193 PS and 265 Nm of torque, paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission and complemented by 18-inch alloy wheels wrapped in 235/40R18 tyres.

Inside, the K4 is equipped with a high-tech Integrated Panoramic Display, comprising dual 12.3-inch screens and a separate 5-inch climate control display, alongside wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.

The Kia EV4 represents Kia’s next-generation electric mobility vision with progressive design, advanced connectivity and everyday usability. Built on the Electric-Global Modular Platform (E-GMP), it features a front-mounted electric motor producing 150 kW and 283 Nm of torque, with a top speed of 170 km/h and up to 612 km WLTP range (81.4 kWh battery), and ultra-fast 350kW DC charging capabilities.

The Kia EV5 is a family-centric, all-electric SUV equipped with advanced fingerprint authentication and V2L (Vehicle-to-Load) functionality. Also based on the E-GMP platform, it delivers up to 230 kW and 480 Nm depending on variant, with a 0–100 km/h time of 6.1 seconds and WLTP range of up to 540 km.

The EV5 supports DC fast charging up to 141 kW and features dual 12.3-inch displays.

The Kia PV5 is the first built on the dedicated E-GMP.S Platform Beyond Vehicle (PBV) architecture, designed for commercial, logistics, business fleets and lifestyle applications.

The PV5 Passenger produces 120 kW from its front-mounted electric motor and features bidirectional charging capabilities, including Vehicle-to-Load (V2L) and Vehicle-to-Everything (V2X) capabilities.

It has received multiple global accolades, including MPV of the Year and Family Car of the Year at the 2026 What Car? Awards and TopGear.com EV Awards, as well as major design recognitions from the Red Dot and iF Design Awards.

The Kia Carnival MPV is currently available in 7-, 8-, and 11-seater configurations, powered by its fuel-efficient diesel engine, capable of achieving over 900 km of range on a single full tank, producing 202 PS and 440 Nm of torque.

The Kia Sportage SUV is available with 2.0-litre NA and 1.6-litre turbo engine options, paired with 6-speed automatic and 8-speed dual-clutch transmissions respectively. Offered in Malaysia in long-wheelbase variant, the Sportage is captivating in design with unique boomerang-inspired front LEDs and truly sets it apart for those who #DareToSportage.

Visitors to the Kia Pavillion may place bookings at KLIMS 2026, to enjoy Kia TotalCare and other attractive prizes.
