This Raya season, MyTOWN Shopping Centre, Kuala Lumpur invites visitors to experience the warmth of heritage through its ‘Weaves of Gratitude’ Hari Raya Aidilfitri celebration, bringing the spirit of togetherness, nostalgia and tradition to life.
Step into a recreated Kampung house, adorned with Kain Perca (patchwork) and intricate thread work – symbolic of the love and care woven into every home.

“This year’s patchwork theme brings back memories of our grandmothers, who lovingly stitched together pieces of fabric to create something meaningful.
“Through Weaves of Gratitude, we hope to rekindle those cherished traditions and create a space where everyone can come together, celebrate, and make lasting memories,” said Azhan Che Mat, general manager of MyTOWN Shopping Centre during the launch event on March 12, 2025.
