Herbalife channels RM5 million in grants over two decades to assist children in need across Malaysia

Five non-profit organisations Amitabha Foundation, Good Samaritan Home, Hope Mission Welfare Society, Pusat Jagaan Kanak-Kanak Yatim (Miskin Rukaiyah) and Yayasan Chow Kit received RM700,000 in grants for 2025/2026 from the Herbalife Family Foundation during a mock cheque presentation at Herbalife’s annual Spectacular event in Shah Alam recently.

Herbalife, through its global non-profit organisation, the Herbalife Family Foundation (HFF), continues to expand its Casa Herbalife initiative in Malaysia to reach more communities in need.

Since 2006, Casa Herbalife has been part of Herbalife’s community efforts in Malaysia, partnering with local non-profit organisations to support children’s homes across Malaysia, contributing almost RM5 million (US$1.2 million) in funding and helping to positively impact the lives of over 2,500 children.

For the 2025/2026 period, HFF has provided around RM700,000 (US$177,985) in grants to five non-profit partners in Malaysia to support essential needs, including daily meals, groceries, welfare programmes and planned improvements to living facilities, helping to ensure children continue to grow up in safe and supportive environments.

The recipients are Amitabha Foundation, Good Samaritan Home, Hope Mission Welfare Society, Pusat Jagaan Kanak-Kanak Yatim (Miskin Rukaiyah) and Yayasan Chow Kit.

The grants were officially presented during a mock cheque ceremony at Herbalife’s annual flagship Spectacular 2026 event, held from Jan 23-25 at the Setia City Convention Centre (SCCC) in Setia Alam, Shah Alam.

Steven Chin, senior director and general manager, Herbalife Malaysia and Singapore shared the belief that every person, regardless of their background, deserves the opportunity to thrive in reaching their full potential and leading fulfilling lives.

“We are inspired by our distributor community and employees who come together year after year to act upon that belief and create lasting impact in communities around the world,” he said.

Beyond the grants, Herbalife employees and distributors maintain on-the-ground presence through ongoing volunteer engagement. Recently, they partnered with Yayasan Chow Kit for a charity drive benefiting 24 children aged 7 to 18, providing essential items and spending time with the children to offer encouragement and support.

Since its founding in 1994, HFF has contributed more than RM240 million (US$60 million) to non-profit partners around the world, supporting programmes that help children thrive and communities grow stronger.
