Riang Ria Fest 2026 – All Got Lah! was unveiled at its soft launch at the Malaysia International Trade and Exhibition Centre (Mitec) in Kuala Lumpur on Oct 27.

Organised by Qube Integrated Malaysia Sdn Bhd, the inaugural year-end family festival runs from Dec 4 to 6 at Mitec.

The soft launch featured Faizal Mahmod, director of the Department of Culture, Arts, Tourism and Sports at Kuala Lumpur City Hall (DBKL), as the guest of honour.

It was attended by key figures including Qube Integrated Malaysia Sdn Bhd’s managing director Jessie Tan, deputy managing director Alicia Thong and executive director Michelle Lau; YAIKK chairman Datuk Zulkifli Ishak; Kuala Lumpur Tower chief executive officer Khairil Faizal Hj Othman, Malaysia Chinese Assembly Hall deputy president Hong See, Mitec chief executive officer Mala Dorasamy, alongside media, sponsors and community members.

The festival rings together five main elements – play, discovery, music, pets, and shopping – specifically timed to entertain families during the year-end school holidays and prepare them for the upcoming back-to-school season.

Highlights of the three-day festival include a pet bazaar, a petting zoo showcasing nearly 20 kinds of animals, music workshops and performances by young Malaysian talent, fun activities with Kuala Lumpur Tower, children’s workshops and year-end shopping deals.

The festival is expected to draw thousands of visitors.

Jessie Tan, managing director of Qube Integrated Malaysia Sdn Bhd.

Qube Integrated Malaysia managing director Jessie Tan said every year-end school holiday, Malaysian families struggle to find budget-friendly activities that are both fun and meaningful.

“Riang Ria Fest is our answer: a place where families and the public can play, learn, shop and celebrate together.

“After many years of organising trade and business exhibitions and conferences, Riang Ria is Qube’s first festival built for families and the public, and we have put our hearts into it. All Got Lah! sums it up.

“We hope everyone, whatever their interest, finds something to enjoy, at a price families can afford,” she said.

Tan added that the festival is also designed to support domestic tourism and the local economy.

“Kuala Lumpur welcomed more than 23 million visitors last year, and year-end is when many families plan their holidays. We hope Riang Ria gives families from the Klang Valley and other states one more reason to visit and enjoy Kuala Lumpur, and in doing so, support our hotels, eateries, transport operators and local businesses,” she said.

“Riang Ria is also about community. We have reached out to residential communities across the Klang Valley.

“We are also proud to support Mitec’s Gift of Joy CSR initiative, which invites the public to donate new or pre-loved toys for children from selected children’s homes. These children will join us at the festival in December,” said Tan.

At Riang Ria, the festival’s official music partner Yayasan Amanah Industri Kreatif Kebangsaan (YAIKK) will run music workshops for young musicians in brass and wind, drumline, percussion and colour guard, alongside live performances by young Malaysian talents.

The festival is also partnering with Mitec’s community initiative, The Gift of Joy, under the #myWorld sustainability program, encouraging the donation of new and pre-loved toys to bring joy to underprivileged children from selected welfare homes during the festive season.

Visitors to the Kuala Lumpur Tower will enjoy discounted tower tickets for 360° city views, dining experiences at ORBIT Revolving Dining, and special meet-and-greets with KL Tower mascots Kay Elle & Tawa, complemented by the Hello Holiday Market artisan pop-up at the main entrance.

The festival’s pet bazaar led by KeciMeow Market features pet food, products, services, shelters and pet-friendly property. The walk-in petting zoo showcases nearly 20 species of furry, feathered, and scaly animals, including rabbits, parrots, hedgehogs, meerkats, prairie dogs and bearded dragons.

Visitors can redeem special gifts at the Biolyn booth, available in limited quantities each day.

For the family and children, there are Interactive games, books, hands-on workshops and activities spanning arts and crafts, science and music timed for the year-end school holidays and back-to-school shopping.

Visitors can visit the stalls featuring year-end bargains, food and drinks and live stage entertainment.
