The Karnival Saya & Maggi (Me & Maggi Carnival) took place from Sept 17 to 20, 2026 at Raintree Plaza, The Exchange TRX in Kuala Lumpur, successfully united Malaysians in a vibrant celebration of food culture, and community spirit timed in the spirit of Malaysia Day.
The event marked the grand finale of Me & Maggi So Good Together, a month-long nationwide campaign that celebrates local food, culture and memorable mealtime moments.

The launch and daily activities featured popular Maggi brand friends, including Aedy Ashraf, Kamal Adli, Nabila Razali and Ain Edruce, competing in spicy noodle eating challenges.
Visitors participated in live cooking demonstrations, interactive photo booths and games to win exclusive Magg merchandise

Maggi Malaysia and Singapore business executive officer Ivy Tan Link Cheh said every Malaysian has their own way of enjoying Maggi and often a story that goes with it.
“Through Karnival Saya & Maggi, we wanted to bring those stories together and celebrate the people behind them, from families sharing a favourite meal to growers and entrepreneurs contributing to our local food communities.”
“Maggi has grown alongside Malaysians and has been welcomed into their homes and kitchens for generations,” she said.
“This carnival was an opportunity to celebrate that relationship, enjoy the flavours we love and create new moments together,” she added.

The four-day event featured multiple interactive experiential zones designed to engage visitors through food, sensory challenges and hands-on activities.
Visitors explored the ingredients and people behind familiar flavours. At Kari Kegemaran Malaysia, they tested their knowledge and senses against Maggi’s signature flavours.
Dari Ladang ke Hidangan Keluarga, an educational, farm-to-table experiential zone, highlighted the sourcing of local ingredients.

At Dapur Maggi Saya, visitors picked up practical ideas for preparing balanced, nutritious everyday meals. They also shared their own #SayaDanMAGGI stories and redeemed exclusive Maggi merchandise.
The programme’s support extends beyond the carnival. Through Kenali Potensi Diri: Program Maggi Wanita Cukup Berani, women registered for free to access four online training modules covering confidence, digitalisation, nutrition and entrepreneurship, building practical skills for everyday life and business.

The Rasa-Rasa Maggi Food Village served as the centerpiece of the carnival, highlighting local food entrepreneurs who created unique dishes using Maggi products. These culinary offerings were organized into four distinct pillars.
Pilihan Kegemaran Bersama Maggi featured familiar favourites with each vendor’s own uniue and personal touches, while Kreasi Eksklusif Bersama Maggi showcased contemporary, unexpected creations made specially for the carnival. Cita Rasa Negeri Bersama Maggi celebrated local authentic flavours representing different states across Malaysia, and Program Maggi Wanita Cukup Berani spotlighted inspiring women entrepreneurs sharing their stories and flavours.

Among the culinary entrepreneurs was Ida Faizura Megat Muhaiyadin, also known as Jua, the first runner-up of Maggi Wanita Cukup Berani Season 3, who presented her culinary creations at the Food Village.
The event also featured live performances from prominent Malaysian artistes, including Dolla, Ruffedge, Misha Omar, Datuk Ziana Zain and Nabila Razali.

Since its arrival in Malaysia in 1969, Maggi has established itself as a household staple, bridging traditional family recipes with modern convenience. The brand has focused on promoting balanced cooking, providing culinary skills and fostering community connections through food.
