Blackmores Malaysia promotes preventive healthcare at Jom!Fit Carnival

Blackmores Malaysia marked 50 years of health support with the launch of its inaugural Jom!Fit Carnival at 1 Utama Shopping Centre in Petaling Jaya to promote proactive bone, joint, and muscle health alongside active lifestyles.

Held in partnership with Caring Pharmacy, the experiential event ran from July 22 to July 26, 2026, as part of the brand’s “More Health, More Life” 50th-anniversary initiative.

The initiative promotes daily preventive care, active living habits and wellness education to help people across the country build better, long-term health routines.

Blackmores Group managing director for Asia, Andrew Fuary, said that that taking a proactive approach to wellness is vital because better health starts long before issues arise.

He emphasized a proactive focus on preventive healthcare and wellness rather than reactive treatment.

“As a brand with more than 90 years of heritage in natural health and 50 years of serving communities in Malaysia, our responsibility extends beyond providing trusted health solutions.

“We are committed to raising awareness, encouraging healthier everyday habits and empowering people to take charge of their long-term health.

“Through our ‘More Health, More Life’ vision and partnerships with trusted healthcare partners such as Caring Pharmacy, we hope to inspire more people to take proactive steps towards their wellbeing and make preventive health a natural part of everyday life,” he said at the launch of Jom!Fit Carnival at 1 Utama on July 25, 2026.

The Jom!Fit Carnival featured the 500 Wellness Laps Challenge as its signature activation, encouraging participants to take small but meaningful steps towards healthier everyday habits.

Marking the successful completion of the 500 Wellness Laps Challenge, participants who completed the wellness journey received event-exclusive rewards in recognition of their commitment to healthier everyday habits.

Blackmores also contributed 200 wellness products to participating running clubs in recognition of their role in encouraging more Malaysians to stay active and adopt healthier lifestyles.

Big Caring Group executive director Lim Sin Yin said that community pharmacies are often the first-place people turn to for public health advice and support before scheduling formal hospital or clinic visits.

Meanwhile, Blackmores Malaysia head of marketing Chloe Meng said the Jom!Fit Carnival marks their first experiential wellness event to promote daily healthy habits.

“From the 500 Wellness Laps Challenge to health screenings, pharmacist consultations and family-friendly activities, we wanted to encourage people to take small but meaningful steps towards healthier lifestyles.

“It was especially encouraging to see running communities, families and shoppers come together throughout the week, demonstrating how simple everyday actions can inspire healthier habits,” she said.

Visitors at the event engaged in interactive experiences, including health screenings, physical challenges, pharmacist consultations and family-friendly activities aimed at making preventive care more approachable and engaging.
