Warner Music Fest 2024 set to rock university campuses Nov 3 – Dec 10, scented by Perfume Paradise

Warner Music Malaysia has announced its highly anticipated Warner Music Fest 2024 is back for its 11th year, featuring a live music tour at eight universities across the country.

It is also the first time Warner Music Fest will make its way to Sabah and Sarawak.

The festival will be conducted with Perfume Paradise, a popular Malaysian perfume brand for younger generation, coming on board as the title sponsor, as it brings together the country’s top music talents for a series of electrifying performances.

The partnership aligns with both organizations’ shared commitment to supporting and fostering the growth of emerging talent in the Malaysian music industry.

Dinesh Ratnam, managing director of Warner Music Malaysia and Singapore, said the organization has always been committed to nurturing and showcasing local talent.

“The Warner Music Fest 2024 represents more than just music, it embodies the essence of community, creativity and the incredible talent that Malaysia has to offer,” he said at a press conference held at The Majapahit @Arcoris Mont Kiara, Kuala Lumpur on Oct 22, 2024.

He said, “This annual university tour is something students eagerly anticipate, and each year, we receive an overwhelmingly positive response. We want to bring music directly to the people who inspire so much of it – our youth. This is one of our ways of connecting the local music scene with the younger generation and fostering a vibrant music culture in Malaysia.”

Warner Music Fest 2024’s official partners Perfume Paradise, Grab, CelcomDigi, Tao Kae Noi and Buz App at the launch of the nationwide music tour to public universities.

The annual event which started in 2012 and went on a hiatus during the pandemic before continuing in 2022, provides an opportunity for artistes to connect with their largest and most enthusiastic youthful, diverse fan base.

The tour is slated to kick off on Nov 3, starting in Kuching, Sarawak and continues through Melaka, Kedah, Penang, Selangor, Perak and Sabah before concluding on Dec 10 in Batu Pahat, Johor.

Ratnam said the tour’s lineup promises an unforgettable experience with performances by Malaysia’s most sought-after talents, including Amsyar Leee, Bunga, Dinda Dania, Luqman Podolski, Rizal Rasid, Syamel, TUJU, Wani Kayrie and Zynakal.

Each artist is set to captivate audiences with their unique styles and hits through the live performances.

In addition to the live music performances, the festival will also feature on-ground activities, such as exclusive meet-and-greet sessions, allowing students to connect up close and personal with their favourite artistes.
