Taiwan’s health and wellness brand Jhaoho expanded into Malaysia on July 24, 2026, marking its first overseas market entry.

The debut introduced its flagship ready-to-consume bone wellness jelly, Wei Gu Mi, alongside other functional wellness and probiotic beverage mixes cleared by Malaysia’s Ministry of Health.

Malaysia serves as the brand’s first overseas market, underscoring the country’s strategic importance as a regional gateway and reflecting the rising demand for preventive health and wellness solutions focused on vitality, mobility and bone health.

The company said that maintaining mobility, bone strength and joint wellness has become a growing health priority across Asia as populations become increasingly health-conscious.

In Malaysia, studies have indicated that 40.9% of adults in an urban population had osteopenia (low bone mass), while 14% were found to have osteoporosis.

Joint health is also an important concern, with knee osteoarthritis affecting an estimated 10–20% of Malaysian adults, impacting mobility and quality of life.

Jhaoho Malaysia chairman Chang Shuo Wen said that true wellness begins with staying active, mobile and confident.

“With Wei Gu Mi, we are proud to introduce a new approach to bone wellness in Malaysia – one that supports people in maintaining their vitality at every stage of life.

“Through Wei Gu Mi, we aim to bring innovative bone wellness solutions that are convenient, science-driven and aligned with modern lifestyles across Southeast Asia,” he said.

Wei Gu Mi is made from a combination of botanical extracts, functional nutrients and bioactive compounds, including herbal ingredients including ginseng, astragalus, notoginseng wolfberry, white peony root, licorice and turmeric, alongside collagen-based and dairy-derived ingredients.

The product is formulated using the company’s proprietary biotechnology innovations, offering a convenient alternative to traditional bone health supplements.

Wei Gu Mi (维股泌), You Li Qian (悠立纤) and Xue Ji Mi (雪肌泌) are the core health and wellness product trio launched by Taiwan’s Jhaoho (朝和生醫) brand.

Jhaoho also introduced You Li Qian, a probiotic botanical beverage mix in orange powder form, and Xue Ji Mi, a botanical beverage mix featuring roselle powder and collagen to support beauty and wellness from within.

The company said the three products comply with Malaysia’s Ministry of Health (KKM)regulatory requirements for health supplements and food products.

In Taiwan, Wei Gu Mi achieves close to 1.2 million units in sales and repeat purchase rate of about 85%, reflecting strong consumer trust and sustained demand for daily wellness solutions.

The “Only You” Live Concert in Malaysia is announced in conjunction with the health and wellness brand Jhaoho, scheduled for October 18, 2026 at Genting Highlands.

To mark its official entry into Malaysia, Jhaoho has appointed Taiwanese Golden Melody Award-winning singer Weng Li-Youas its Wei Gu Mi Brand Ambassador, paired with his signature song “Only You,” for a live concert at Genting Highlands on October 18, 2026.

Customers will be able to participate in the concert experience through a purchase-with-redemption programme, where selected product packages will be eligible for concert ticket redemption.
