This Ramadan, Resorts World Awana in Genting Highlands is inviting guests to immerse in a tranquil, rainforest-enveloped oasis and savour the exquisite pleasure of indulging in a divine selection of epicurean treasures from the East Coast from March 12 till April 9, 2024.

Guests can relish an impeccable experience with the culinary varieties curated by executive chef Ahmad Rosnie, such as the smoky charcoal-tinged Ayam Percik, ulam and herb-infused Nasi Kerabu and an array of festive favourites such as Kambing Bakar, Sup Aneka, Rendang Tok, Singgang Kelantan, Ayam Cincalok, Urab Nangka and Tempe.

Channelling the exquisite flavours of yore to evoke nostalgia and curated to perfection, each time-honoured dish is an ode to the exotic traditions of the East Coast.

Their popular Gearbox Soup offerings include kuih warisan tradisional like Seri Muka and Ondeh Ondeh, as well as ice kacang, cakes and cookies.

Table reservations made from now till March 17 will enjoy an early bird rate of RM98 for adults and RM68 for children and senior citizens. Standard rates of RM118 for adults and RM98 for children and senior citizens apply for bookings after March 17.

Meanwhile, guests can cherish and savour the camaraderie of Ramadan with heritage-inspired flavours of a talam, kampung-style hidangan specially curated by chef Hapizi Hussain from March 12 to April 9, 2024 at Jom Makan SkyAvenue Level G.

The Set Dulang Ramadan for 3 pax dining features authentic and traditional Malay specialties like Kerabu Perut Lembu and Kuih Badak Berendam, an East Coast-style delicacy of glutinous rice balls stuffed with gula melaka-drenched coconut filling in coconut milk.

The extensive spread of Malay culinary delights such as grilled beef skewer, grilled lamb skewer, grilled prawns skewer, ayam percik and ikan kembung berlado are beautifully presented in trays laid out on intricately-designed kain batik, at RM75 nett from 5pm till 9pm.

Jom Makan Street Food, SkyAvenue Level 4 will be offering a special set menu of Nasi Ayam Panggang, Bubur Kacang Hijau and a glass of chilled ice lemon tea, orange, lemonade or Milo at RM35nett, available from 12 noon till 8pm. This offer is extended until April 14.

The Aidilfitri set promotion with lemang, kuah kacang, sayur lodeh, ayam rendang and bergedil tauhu is priced at RM25 nett per pax for 2 pax at Jom Makan, SkyAvenue Level G from March 10 till April 14.

For a taste of Middle Eastern dishes, guests can head over to AYU Awana and share in the communal joy of Ramadan with Nasi Arab Dulang, featuring a selection of lamb shank, oxtail stew, charcoal-grilled tilapia and Lebanese baked chicken, available only on the Selera AYU dinner menu from March 11 till April 14.
