Japanese automotive aftermarket brand Grow Design has launched in Malaysia with Wing Hin Motorsports Sdn Bhd appointed as its exclusive local distributor.
The brand made its official debut at Tokyo Auto Salon Malaysia, showcasing a fully upgraded Toyota GR Corolla Morizo Edition and a global premiere of the 4th-generation Toyota Alphard exclusive Grow tail lamps
The partnership will bring Grow Design’s range of aerodynamic, tuning and performance products to Malaysian automotive enthusiasts, for several popular Japanese performance and luxury models, including Toyota GR Yaris, GR Corolla, Toyota GR86, Subaru BRZ and Toyota Alphard/Vellfire.
Wing Hin Motorsports also announced its joint venture with Grow Japan to form Grow International for global distribution.
Grow International will soon expand its market reach by offering its product range through Toyota’s official dealership channels in Japan, and is concurrently in discussions to appoint distributors in several regions around the world.
Founded in 2008 by Japanese racing driver Masahiro Sasaki, Grow Design combines real-world motorsport experience with functional design to enhance handling, performance and appearance without altering a vehicle’s original character. It leverages professional Super GT, Super Taikyu, and 86/BRZ race experience into street-performance development.
Grow Design initially focused on racing driver development, race car manufacturing and maintenance before expanding into aftermarket aerodynamic and tuning products in 2024, merging professional motorsport expertise with clean, functional street and track design.
Grown Design’s product range includes aerodynamic body kits and components, carbon-fibre parts, spoilers and rear wings, diffusers and side skirts, overfenders, suspension systems, exhaust systems, and performance seats and interior components.
The specialised performance and aerodynamic upgrades offered by Grow Design vary depending on the model’s purpose, ranging form track-focused carbon-fiber kits for Toyota’s Gazoo Racing and sports cars to comfort and styling kits for luxury and comfort models, like the Toyota Alphard/Vellfire and Toyota Crown Sport,
As part of the Malaysian launch, Wing Hin Motorsports has appointed SC Custom Styling & Autopart Sdn Bhd as an authorised dealer for Grow Design products to make the brand more accessible locally.
The appointment further expands Wing Hin Motorsports’ portfolio of specialist automotive brands such as Modellista, TRD, Valenti, GR Parts and HAL Springs.
