With the festive season being a time of togetherness and giving back to society, the Curve shopping mall took the opportunity to reach out to the less fortunate at two charitable homes in Selangor – Rumah Cahaya Kasih and Pusat Penjagaan Kanak-Kanak Cacat Taman Megah.

During the holy month of Ramadan, the mall management and employees delivered buka puasa meals for 20 five- and six-year-olds and their three caretakers at Rumah Cahaya Kasih.

The meals were provided by Me’nate Steak Hub, an eatery opening soon at the mall.

The Curve also gifted the home with groceries and duit raya.

The Curve team also visited Pusat Penjagaan Kanak-Kanak Cacat Taman Megah, a centre that presently serves the special needs of 105 physically handicapped and disabled children with various disabilities, ranging from Down syndrome, autism and cerebral palsy to speech impairments.

In addition, the home cares for abused and neglected children.

Basic necessities and groceries were distributed to the home.

Inspired by the values of Keluarga Malaysia, the Curve’s Raya community service for Malaysians in need aims to reflect togetherness and a sense of unity.

Boustead Properties Bhd property management and investment senior general manager Jazmi Kamarudin said giving back to the community during the holy month has been an annual activity for the Curve.

“This year we also wanted to reflect inclusivity through our Raya community service by including the needs of less fortunate non-Muslims in the spirit of Keluarga Malaysia.

“We are grateful that our contribution can make a difference and hope it brighten the festivities for those who are celebrating as everyone deserves to have a joyful Raya. It will also be more meaningful this year as the country heads into a nearly normal environment after two years of subdued festivities,” he said.
