The winner is a Selangor-born entrepreneur running an online food business.

She will represent Malaysia in the Miss Plus World 2022 pageant in Texas, USA on March 12 this year.

“I’ve once thought I can’t rise.  Yet, I’ve changed my life 360 degrees as I take ownership of my life and mistakes.

“I hope to empower others to realize they too can change their lives. They too deserve to be happy, to be loved and accepted, and that they don’t need to keep thinking they aren’t good enough,” said Tong.

The newly crowned plus size queen said she wants to advocate self-redemption and mental empowerment, as well as promoting Malaysia’s diverse cultures when she represents the country at the Miss Plus World 2022 finals.

“Self-redemption is to succeed or do something good after one has failed or done something bad. One can redeem oneself for yesterday’s loss by winning today’s game,” she said.
