EcoWorld Development Group Bhd (EcoWorld) hosted the second edition of the EcoWorld Connects: Business Ascend Forum at EX8 in Subang Jaya.
The forum themed “The Next Leap”, featured candid insights and a moderated panel discussion with prominent entrepreneurs behind well-known Malaysian ventures, focusing on how companies can prepare for their next growth stages and evaluate if they are truly ready for major new opportunities.
The event followed the inaugural edition held in December 2025 as part of EcoWorld’s Eco Business Park VII (EBP VII) effort to grow a business community around the development in Malaysia Vision Valley 2.0 (MVV 2.0).
It also marked the official opening of registration for Phase 2 of SME Core at EBP VII, following the full take-up and subscription of Phase 1.
EcoWorld deputy chief execute officer Liew Tian Xiong said EcoWorld Connects was built on a simple idea, that businesses grow faster when they collaborate, share experiences and build a strong community together.
“The response to our first forum told us the community wanted more, so this time we brought in leaders who have taken that next leap themselves.
“EBP VII is designed as a business ecosystem, where space, community and connections come together to help companies take their next step with confidence,” he said.

The event opened with a project briefing on EBP VII and an insights-sharing session by One Credit, a partner of the forum.
Featured speakers Colony Coworking & Event Spaces chief executive officer Timothy Tiah, Aerodyne Group founder and group chief executive officer Dato’ Dr Kamarul A Muhamed, and Santan chief executive officer Catherine Goh, shared their growth strategies in recognising and acting on business opportunities.
One Credit was one of the partners hosting a booth at the venue, allowing attendees to interact with their team and follow up on the morning’s discussions.
The morning session concluded with a networking luncheon.
The event’s speakers were joined by notable Malaysian business leaders, including YYC Group chief executive officer Datin Yap Shin Siang and Malaysia Retail Chain Association president Dato’ Liew Bin.
EcoWorld chief development officer for Eco Central-North and Eco Business Park Dato’ Ho Kwee Hong was also present.
EBP VII is an integrated industrial hub, spanning an 1,195-acre freehold development in Bukit Pelandok, Mukim Jimah, Port Dickson in Negeri Sembilan within the Malaysia Vision Valley 2.0 (MVV 2.0) growth corridor.
The sales gallery is currently open to enquiries from companies looking to grow in the region.
