Global apparel retailer Uniqlo has launched its second Pokemon UT collection to celebrate the franchise’s 30th anniversary.
Inspired by the original Game Boy titles, the line features monochrome pixel graphics for adults and colorful pixel art for kids, paying homage to the origins of the series.
The designs evoke the classic 1996 aesthetic of Generation 1 Pokemon Red and Blue on the Game Boy, and feature retro title screens, fan-favourite Pokemon such as Pikachu, the legendary Pokemon Mew and Mewtwo, as well as the Pokemon of the eight Gym Leaders that players encountered during their journey.
The collection with four designs each for adults and kids is available from July 27, 2026 at all Uniqlo stores in Malaysia, and the uniqlo.com online store.
The special Uniqlo Pokemon UT Special Webpage launched on July 8, 2026, features retro monochrome pixel-art T-shirt designs and original Game Boy background music from Pokemon Red and Blue.
