Archidex 2026, Asia’s largest architecture expo, is returning for its 25th edition from July 29 to August 1, 2026 at the Malaysia International Trade and Exhibition Centre (Mitec), Kuala Lumpur.
Positioned as Asia’s leading architecture and built environment business event, the landmark edition runs under the theme “The Bold Future” and will be fully consolidated at Mitec for the first time.
The exhibition will expand by 20%, covering 39,000 square metres, bringing together close to 900 exhibitors from 20 countries and regions, and attracting 40,000 trade visitors globally, with expected transactions of up to RM1.4 billion.

The event also strengthens policy industry collaboration through the ASEAN Real Estate Conference (Arec), linking government and industry to translate urban development priorities into real investment outcomes.
Beyond the exhibition, Archidex (International Architecture, Interior Design and Building Exhibition) expands its knowledge and engagement ecosystem through key conferences and city-wide initiatives like Kuala Lumpur Architecture Week (KLAW), positioning it as both a regional industry hub and a broader platform for ideas, innovation and urban engagement.
Jointly organised by Pertubuhan Akitek Malaysia (PAM) and C.I.S, Archidex has established itself as a premier regional platform connecting architects, interior designers, developers, engineers, manufacturers and policymakers.
At the Archidex x AREC 2026 Preview event, Dato’ Vincent Lim, President of C.I.S Network Sdn Bhd said: “Archidex began as a trade exhibition grounded in business, networking and discovery.
“Today, it operates as a Confex platform, integrating exhibition, conference and forums – an annual gathering that is a launch platform for brands, a springboard for local companies entering international markets, a gateway for global players into this region and a meeting ground where architectural design, technology and business converge.”

The Archidex x AREC 2026 Preview was held on May 12, 2026 at Mitec, officiated by Housing and Local Government Minister Nga Kor Ming.
Nga described Archidex and AREC 2026 as “a global nexus where policymakers and industry leaders meet to exchange the transformative ideas necessary to address global challenges and more importantly make them implementable at the local level.”
Aechidex 2026 is set to expand its impact through a strategic collaboration with the Ministry of Housing and Local Government to host the ASEAN Real Estate Conference (AREC). This partnership reinforces Malaysia’s role as a regional hub for sustainable urban development.
AREC strengthens the critical bridge between policy direction and industry execution, bringing together government, developers, architects and solution providers to align national urban development priorities with regional investment and implementation pathways.
Through AREC, Archidex reinforces its role beyond exhibition -functioning as a structured policy-to-market interface where national agendas are translated into actionable industry outcomes and investment opportunities.

Beyond the exhibition floor, Archidex strengthens its position as a regional knowledge platform, driven by an integrated conference ecosystem that connects practice, policy and future industry direction.
Held concurrently with Archidex 2026 is the DATUM Conference, the region’s premier gathering of architectural thinkers.
Organized by PAM and C.I.S, DATUM has established itself as a cornerstone for architectural discourse in Asia, convening leading international architects, practitioners and thinkers. Running annually as part of the Kuala Lumpur Architecture Festival (KLAF) and in conjunction with Archidex, it offers a vital platform for discussing architecture’s role in navigating modern urban, environmental and social challenges

PAM president Ar IDr Dexter Koh Yew Peng highlighted Archidex’s role within a wider ecosystem that includes the Kuala Lumpur Architecture Festival (KLAF) and DATUM.
“Within the KLAF, Archidex represents more than a marketplace, it is a meeting point where architecture is discussed questioned, and reimagined.
“Over the years, DATUM has evolved into a celebration in its own right. We celebrate the belief that architecture can drive positive change and inspire the next generation to design with purpose and responsibility,” he said.
Completing the ecosystem are the Asia Space Design Summit and the Asia Workplace Design Conference, focusing on the evolution of physical and digital environments across Asia.

Archidex 2026 will feature three thematic floors focusing on sustainability, future architecture and wellbeing.
These floors are enhanced by specialized zones including World of Works (office design), A Hospitality Anthology (lifestyle), FENESTEX (facades) and Digital @ Archidex (AI/BIM).
Archidex 2026 will deliver a comprehensive programme designed to drive business outcomes, thought leadership and talent development. Key highlights include biz talks and focus forums, buyer programmes for business matching, Archidex Star Awards, recognising product excellence and innovation, and ArchiTalent for emerging design talent.
Archidex 2026 will feature dedicated free shuttle services from KL Sentral and Sunway Putra Mall to Mitec.
