Robert James from Indonesia, with his wife Raenita Santoso acting as his proxy, won the Grand Prize, a Porsche 911 Carrera, in the 2025 “Licence to Win” (LTW) campaign themed “Own the Dream,” organised by Malaysia Airports Holdings Bhd (MAHB).
Raenita competed in the evening’s games on his behalf, successfully navigating her way through to the grand finale at Bangunan Sultan Abdul Samad, Kuala Lumpur on April 23, 2026.
Running from July 21 to Dec 31, 2025, the premier shopping campaign allowed travellers to win the car by spending at least RM100 at participating airports, including KLIA (Terminal 1 & 2), Langkawi, Penang, Kota Kinabalu and Kuching International Airports.

Finalists competed in high-stakes challenges throughout an adrenaline-charged night designed to test speed, focus and precision.
Other prizes included Traveloka travel vouchers to Switzerland, Australia and Japan, Eraman shopping sprees, monthly rewards and a BMW R1300 GS adventure touring bike.

The campaign was run in partnership with Eraman and Traveloka to promote retail activity at Malaysian airports.
The initiative concluded with significant success, generated over RM200 million in sales receipts and attracted over 500,000 entries across Malaysia Airports’ network, a 56 percent growth year-on-year.
The campaign also reflects Malaysia Airports’ ongoing focus on enhancing its service and elevating passenger experience to support Visit Malaysia 2026 (VM2026) campaign, positioning the country’s airports as welcoming gateways showcasing the nation’s diverse culture, nature and hospitality to both domestic and international travellers.
The campaign revealed shifting traveller spending trends with a single receipt transaction of RM93,000, and duty free remained the top purchase category. The attractive and affordable minimum spend for food and beverage also contributed to the increase in participation, allowing the campaign to be more accessible across categories.

MAHB commercial services senior general manager Hani Ezra Hussin said the campaign reflects the strength of its evolving retail strategy and continued focus on elevating the traveller experience through diverse shopping and culinary options.
“Strong participation and sustained sales demonstrate our ability to create more engaging and rewarding retail experiences across all touchpoints, while supporting our partners in driving visibility and growth.
“We are delighted to celebrate our winners, as our efforts beyond transactions continue to create meaningful and memorable moments for passengers, enhancing the overall travel experience,” she said.
The conclusion of Licence to Win 2025 underscores Malaysia Airports’ commitment to enhancing the airport experience, delivering greater value for travellers while supporting a more seamless and enjoyable journey. Building on this momentum, Malaysia Airports remains focused on creating meaningful travel experiences that reflect the warmth, vibrancy and hospitality of Malaysia.
