Lush Malaysia, the fresh handmade cosmetics company, has launched a renewed advocacy and giving initiative, reinforcing the brand’s commitment to meaningful, sustained change by aligning product innovation directly with non-governmental organisations (NGOs).
As part of this renewed approach, Lush Malaysia will introduce an ongoing series of purpose-led products, released one after the other and developed in close collaboration with selected NGOs.
Each product will place an NGO at the forefront, amplifying critical social and environmental issues while marking a bold new chapter in how the brand drives advocacy through action.

The initiative, set to begin in late March this year, will spotlight key causes across the country, using its platform to raise awareness, mobilise public support, and generate funding for NGOs who are working on the frontlines of conservation, community empowerment and environmental justice.
The announcement came at the Lush Charity Pot Showcase held at Lush NU Sentral, Kuala Lumpur on January 22, 2026.

The celebratory event honoured the NGOs it collaborated with since the start of Malaysia’s Charity Pot in 2022, including Coralku, Turtle Conservation Society, MareCet, Pulihara, Kumpulan Aktivis Sahabat Alam, Malaysian Writers Society, AIESEC in Taylor’s, Marine Ecology Research Centre and Tengah Island Conservation.
“The impact we celebrate today is built on long-term collaboration with our NGO partners. From conservation to community empowerment, each initiative reflects Lush Malaysia’s commitment to action beyond advocacy,” said Lush Malaysia director Dr Harvinder Harchand.

The event reflects on the legacy of Charity Pot, Lush’s long-running giving initiative that supports grassroots organisations. Launched in 2007 and named after its iconic hand and body cream, 100% of the purchase price (minus taxes) of the product goes to small organisations championing animal rights, human rights and environmental justice.
While the Charity Pot initiative for Lush Malaysia ended in 2025, its impact continues to ripple across communities and ecosystems nationwide, an impact celebrated through this showcase: from marine conservation and mangrove restoration to wildlife conservation.

Since 2018, Lush Malaysia’s environmental initiatives such as beach clean-ups conducted nationwide removed over 12,533 kilograms of waste along Malaysia’s coastline, namely Sungai Skudai in Johor, Riau Beach in Port Dickson, Dalit Tuaran Beach in Kota Kinabalu, Teluk Apau in Langkawi, Teluk Cempedak in Kuantan, Batu Ferringhi Beach in Penang, Sungai Skudai, Pulau Hujung, Pantai Buntut Meriam and Tiara Desaru Beach in Johor, Pantai Pasir Panjang in Perak, Pantai Kelanang in Selangor and Pantai Chakar Hutan, Terengganu.
Through Charity Pot initiatives with Coralku, alongside separate initiatives Lush Malaysia had with MERC, TIC and Pulihara, 1,248 corals were planted and 35 coral frames were restored, strengthening reef ecosystems that support 25% of marine species.
Mangrove restoration projects with MareCet and Pulihara saw 458 saplings planted and 100 seedlings nurtured, reinforcing natural coastal defences, improving carbon sequestration and creating vital marine nurseries.
Wildlife conservation efforts with Pulihara led to the adoption of 11 turtles and 20 turtle nests, resulting in 1,689 hatchlings released, alongside the release of 20 terrapins with Turtle Conservation Society.
Education and inclusivity remain central to Lush Malaysia’s mission. Through the “From Classroom to Conservation” programme with Turtle Conservation Society, nearly 400 students across Terengganu took part in hands-on environmental learning experiences, fostering connections with nature.
The Lush Charity Pot Showcase demonstrates Lush Malaysia’s partnership with NGOs, rooted in shared values, can restore ecosystems, protect wildlife, uplift communities and drive lasting change to shape a healthier, safer and truly lusher Malaysia for generations to come.
