This Chinese New Year (CNY) Fahrenheit88 shopping mall breaks away from tradition with ‘The Ma-Vellous Year’, a bold festive campaign that merges anime culture with the auspicious spirit of the Fire Horse.
Running from now until February 24, 2026, the mall transforms into an immersive visual playground where traditional Chinese decoration meets modern pop aesthetics, marking a refreshing and rare anime-inspired take on the season’s celebrations.

The celebration features a MA-Vellous Garden as its centrepiece, set against a picturesque backdrop located at the main atrium, serving as the ultimate photo spot, where the refined beauty of imperial aesthetics meets vibrant splashes of modern flair.

“With The MA-Vellous Year, we have taken a more contemporary approach to the celebrations by positioning the mall as a creative and experiential retail destination for tourists and young urban shoppers.
“As part of Bukit Bintang, one of Kuala Lumpur’s key tourism districts, fahrenheit88 continues to curate festive experiences that complement the Visit Malaysia Year momentum, supported through collaborations with tenants such as HLA and Bath & Body Works,” said fahrenheit88 director of marketing Kung Suan Ai.

Shoppers can dive into a world of traditional elegance at the Chinese Horse Brush Painting Exhibition at Level 1, Lot 1.43.
This exhibition by award-winning Malaysian artist Tee Ying Jie showcased an extensive collection of more than 100 original art pieces alongside a majestic horse carriage display that captures the spirit and power of the Fire Horse.
Tee marked his 10th anniversary of zodiac-themed exhibitions by bringing this special commemorative pop-up to the public to welcome the start of the Year of the Horse.

The spirit of the New Year is further celebrated through a curation of cultural experiences that transform the mall into a festive hub. A Chinese New Year Market offers a selection of festive goods, traditional decorations and seasonal treats for all visitors.
The celebration is anchored by a collaboration with Bath & Body Works, inviting shoppers to step into a world of prosperity, joy and luminous fragrance with the launch of its Touch of Gold Collection.
