Suria KLCC Group ushers in Year of the Horse with a resplendent celebration of heritage and prosperity

Suria KLCC Group has launched its 2026 Chinese New Year (CNY) celebrations, marking the Year of the Horse with a harmonious blend of tradition, culture and rewarding festive experiences across its three shopping centres: Suria KLCC, Alamanda Shopping Centre and Mesra Mall.

From Jan 16 to Feb 18, 2026, shoppers are invited to experience the vibrant festive mood at KLCC The Place, where the CNY festivities are brought to life through festive decor, seasonal offerings and retail experiences.

Shoppers and visitors can enjoy a truly holistic festive journey with moments of leisure at the KLCC Park, and around the KLCC Precinct, home to a diverse mix of lifestyle, dining and arts and cultural attractions.

Suria KLCC’s Centre Court has been transformed into an immersive festive showcase featuring an Oriental Horse Carousel as its centrepiece that represent the Year of The Horse, where the installation is set against scenic backdrops of mountains and cherry blossom trees.

Shoppers can explore interactive elements including a Lotus Pond of Blessings, inviting visitors to make wishes for prosperity and good fortune.

A traditional Chinese pavilion with a bridge completes the setting, offering a picturesque backdrop for festive photo moments.

Tan reaffirmed the group’s continued commitment to supporting the health and well-being of communities.

Visitors can catch the high-pole acrobatic lion dance performances by the Khuan Loke Dragon and Lion Dance Association Malaysia at the Esplanade, KLCC Park on every Saturday and on the first day (Feb 17) and second day (Feb 18) of Chinese New Year.

Visitors can also engage in festive sugar art workshops, Chinese calligraphy stamping workshops and visit the festive photobooth to capture the joyful moments.

Through the shoppers rewards programme, shoppers who spend RM2,500 and above in two receipts will receive RM100 Suria KLCC Shopping e-Vouchers and a set of Red Packets, and purchasers of Suria KLCC Shopping e-Vouchers worth RM1,000 via the website will be rewarded with an additional e-Vouchers valued at RM100.

Alamanda Shopping Centre, Putrajaya

Running from January 23 to February 18, 2026, Alamanda Putrajaya elevates the festive spirit by transforming its Centre Court into a warm and vibrant Oriental Garden. The heart of the display features the Oriental Horse Carousel, beautifully complemented by a traditional Chinese pavilion adorned with red lanterns. This picturesque setting, complete with cherry blossom trees, offers a serene sanctuary for families to celebrate the season.

Other festive highlights include acrobatic lion dance performances on high poles and traditional Chinese dance showcases on selected dates.

For the younger ones looking to express their creativity through art, the ViKids programme offers sugar painting workshops, allowing children to engage with a timeless folk art.

Shoppers can also enjoy special rewards with a spend of RM600 and above in two receipts to receive an RM30 e-Voucher, or RM1,500 and above for an RM80 e-Voucher.

Shoppers can support the group-wide mental health initiative by purchasing a Green Ribbon Pin for RM10, and receiving mandarin oranges as a token of appreciation.

Mesra Mall, Kemaman

Running from January 29 to February 18, 2026, Mesra Mall in Kemaman, Terengganu brings the CNY celebration to the East Coast with a traditional and welcoming Oriental Horse Carousel concept. The mall is bathed in festive decorations, creating a joyful atmosphere for all visitors.

There will be traditional lion dance performances and walkabouts that spread luck and prosperity throughout the mall. Families are invited to bond over culturally rich activities designed to engage children at the heritage workshops, including Chinese rattle drum making, fan making and paper plate horse crafting.

The first 400 shoppers who spend RM350 and above in two receipts will receive a Mesra Mall Shopping Voucher valued at RM30.
