Tomei, the Malaysian jewellery brand, has launched its 2026 Chinese New Year (CNY) collection themed “The Bountiful Year of the Horse”, at Tomei Headquarters Showroom, Jalan Kelang Lama in Kuala Lumpur on Jan 9, 2026.

The collection is inspired by the legendary Silk Road and its most iconic symbol – the noble horse, representing success, endurance and abundance.

In Chinese culture, the horse is revered as a symbol of talent, progress and honour. The collection draws from the famed Silk Road Bountiful Horse motif, depicting the ancient trade routes where caravans travelled tirelessly, bringing gold, jewels, silk and porcelain across continents – a living metaphor of prosperity in motion.

At the launch, Tomei group managing director Datuk Ng Yih Pyng highlighted that the Silk Road horse reflects the aspirations of 2026, a year that marks Visit Malaysia Year 2026, where Malaysia will gain prosperity throughout the year.

“The Silk Road was a conduit of wealth, trade and opportunity. It symbolizes how perseverance and steady effort lead to lasting prosperity – the very spirit we hope to share with our customers in the Year of the Horse,” he said.

Timely for everyone to “bring prosperity home”, Tomei has introduced designs across a wide range of price points, so that every piece, regardless of gold weight, carries the same cultural depth and auspicious blessings.

Five exquisite CNY collections were unveiled: The Bountiful Horse Collection, The Glorious Culture by Tomei, Tomei Blissful Collection, Tomei Fortune Collection and Tomei Chomel CNY Series. These stunning offerings are now available at all Tomei outlets nationwide.
