McDonald’s Malaysia has launched the “Prosperity Kembali, Lebih Bererti” campaign, bringing back one of its most iconic creations – the Prosperity Burger.

The launch event was held at Kuala Lumpur Tower on Nov 17, 2025, with an exclusive drone light show that lit up the night sky.

Prior to the launch event, children from the Ronald McDonald House at Hospital Tunku Azizah and Hospital Canselor Tuanku Muhriz UKM, were invited to KL Tower, many of whom were there for the first time, for a lifetime experience filled with unforgettable views.

The Prosperity Burger, a Malaysian icon since 1994 with its signature black pepper sauce has become one of McDonald’s most iconic creations. It has brought families and friends across the country uniting Malaysians to share wonderful moments of prosperity together.

McDonald’s Malaysia senior vice-president and chief impact officer Melati Abdul Hai said the Prosperity Burger has become a cherished tradition for Malaysians, representing more than just a meal.

“It’s a beacon of hope, a symbol of togetherness and shared memories.

“Every year, Malaysians from all walks of life, especially families and friends get together to share special moments while enjoying the Prosperity Burger,” she said.

She added, “We’re always excited to bring back the Prosperity burger, but this year is extra special as we leverage this beloved tradition to also do good for children in need, by highlighting and supporting our charity of choice, Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC).”

From Nov 20 to Dec 21, 2025, McDonald’s Malaysia will donate RM0.20 to Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC) Malaysia for every Prosperity Burger meal purchased.

Every contribution goes directly towards supporting RMHC programmes, including the Ronald McDonald House (providing accommodation for families of paediatric patients seeking treatment), Gift of Smile (cleft lip and palate surgeries), Back-to-School (school essentials for underprivileged children), and Sensory Rooms (therapy spaces for children with special needs).

“We are pleased to partner with Malaysians who are Prosperity Burger lovers, in our effort to give back,” Melati said. “When you enjoy a Prosperity meal, you’re also lending a hand to RMHC and changing the lives of children in need across Malaysia.”

As the Prosperity Burger returns to McDonald’s restaurants nationwide, McDonald’s Malaysia invites everyone to share not just a meal, but a sense of gratitude and kindness because true prosperity is best enjoyed together.
