Pavilion REIT Malls hosted an iftar gathering at Piazza Pavilion Bukit Jalil in Kuala Lumpur, bringing warmth and dignity to 600 individuals from PPR Sri Rakyat B40 community, in observance of the holy month of Ramadan.
The evening offered nutritious meals, interactive workshops and cultural performances that celebrated Malaysia’s rich heritage while creating meaningful connections among the diverse community members.
The iftar celebration, with Pavilion REIT Malls collaborating with brand partners, exemplified the transformative power of corporate-community partnerships to create a holistic experience honouring both the spiritual significance of Ramadan and the practical needs of participating families.
Children had fun engaging in activities while parents forged new friendships, all within the welcoming environment designed to foster genuine connection and cultural appreciation.

Pavilion REIT chief executive officer Dato’ Philip Ho said, “Ramadan teaches us that true prosperity is measured not by what we have, but by what we share.
“At Pavilion REIT Malls, we believe business success and community well-being are inseparable.
“The smiles we’ve witnessed at this event reflect the essence of what Malaysia represents: a tapestry of cultures united by compassion and mutual respect.”
The evening began with interactive cultural activities with families engaged in crafting workshops while children enjoyed the kiddie rides.
WOW Beauty hosted a special makeup sharing session where professional makeup artists shared beauty tips with adult participants, while children participated in a collage workshop using natural resources like stone and lead, facilitated by UiTM educators.
As sunset approached, the Piazza evolved into a showcase of Malaysia’s rich cultural heritage. The air filled with enchanting melodies from a Ghazal instrumental and Orkes Melayu performance by Kelab Belia Setiawanku Band.
When the call to Maghreb resonated through the venue, guests gathered to break fast together over a diverse spread of traditional and contemporary dishes.
The cultural celebration continued with caklempong and gamelan performances by IPG Raya Melewar Seremban, offering an immersive experience of Malaysia’s artistic traditions.
“This iftar event served as a reminder that even small acts of kindness can create a ripple effect of positivity – a part of a greater mission to foster meaningful connections, provide support, and celebrate togetherness beyond the holy month,” said Ho.
“Pavilion REIT Malls extends its heartfelt appreciation to all who contributed to making this initiative a success, and we will continue to champion initiatives that uplift and empower the communities we serve, reinforcing the values of unity all year round,” added Ho.
The evening concluded with a special distribution of donations and duit raya to children while adults received goodie bags, spreading joy and ensuring that everyone left with cherished memories.
The initiative reaffirmed Pavilion REIT Malls’ dedication to corporate social responsibility through fostering long-term community engagement and uplifting those in need.
