Mydin has launched its Chinese New Year 2025 campaign with exciting promotions, contests and activities to ‘Kongsi Meriah’ together, with the aim to foster unity among different communities.
The campaign was officially launched at Mydin Subang Jaya by Subang Jaya state assemblywoman Michelle Ng Mei Sze on Jan 16, 2025.
“Through this campaign, we aim to promote unity among Malaysia’s diverse communities and strengthen the bonds within our customer base,” said Mohamed Holdings Berhad (Mydin) managing director Datuk Wira (Dr) Haji Ameer Ali Mydin during the campaign launch.
To mark the Chinese Lunar Year of the Snake, Mydin, in collaboration with The Star, is introducing a new game, the ‘Snake Board Game,’ where participants can redeem vouchers, discount coupons and special offers through the Mydin Rewards app.
Ten lucky winners will have the chance to win a Supermarket Sweep of prizes worth up to RM8,880.
A key highlight of the campaign is a contest where 28 lucky customers stand a chance to win a free lion dance performance at their homes, with a minimum spend of RM118 at any Mydin outlet.
In addition to the campaign, Mydin is supporting the underprivileged communities through its Mydin Prihatin ‘Kongsi Rezeki’ initiative. It will distribute food boxes and cash vouchers to 500 Chinese families from the B40 income group nationwide.
