MyTOWN to ring in CNY with ‘Waves of Prosperity’

This Chinese New Year, MyTOWN Shopping Centre in Kuala Lumpur invites visitors to immerse themselves in the spirit of renewal, abundance and togetherness with “Waves of Prosperity”, a festive celebration running from Jan 10 to Feb 9, 2025.

This year’s theme reflects the essence of Chinese New Year, celebrating wealth, success and the joy of prosperous connections within families, friends and communities.

MyTOWN Shopping Centre general manager Mohd Azhan Che Mat said the Waves of Prosperity campaign embodies the spirit of unity, joy and abundance.

“Our vibrant programs and stunning decorations are designed to bring the community together as we celebrate the rich traditions of Chinese New Year.

“We’re also thrilled to have continued partnerships with Tadaland and HSBC, which add an extra layer of excitement to the festivities,” he said.

Mohd Azhan added, “The addition of new tenants such as Pandora, Fuiyoh It’s Uncle Roger, Hongmen Palace, Butter Kaya, Kopi Rakyat and more further enhances the energy and liveliness of this special celebration.”

Adding to the festive cheer, MyTOWN continues its exclusive partnership with Tadaland, unveiling four new characters – Jolly, Pixi, Jimi and Mozzarella. Each character embodies unique traits, bringing vibrant energy and interactive experiences to the celebration. These mascots are sure to captivate visitors of all ages.

MyTOWN presents a special Chinese New Year video with Jasper Lai, celebrating prosperity and togetherness. The video brings the theme “Waves of Prosperity” to life in a warm, relatable way. Watch out for the premiere on MyTOWN’s social media platforms.
