The top 12 finalists of Miss Grand Malaysia 2024 pageant vying for the crown were revealed in a press conference at Ceres Jewels, Hampshire Park in Kuala Lumpur on August 21.
The top 12 are Ashlyn Devissha (Kuala Lumpur), Geetha William (Kuala Lumpur), Joanneia Selin (Penang), Kiki Khor (Penang), Lilyannie Christie Linus (Sabah), Linasni Kusraju (Selangor), Melisha Lin (Kuala Lumpur), Rachel Alphine (Sabah), Rochil Sagarino (Sabah), Sarah Monika Sow (Johor), Shareen Jee (Sabah) and Tito Esther Marius (Sabah).
Sabah has the most contestants of all states, with five of them in the competition.
Organized by HyperLive Entertainment and Sunstrong Entertainment, the pageant finalists from across Malaysia have gathered in Kuala Lumpur for their pageant week.
“The finalists are participating in various pre-judging activities, such as sashing ceremony at Ceres Jewels, a talent showcase, a fashion show, catwalk coaching by Amber Chia, sponsor visits and a fitness challenge.
“Their creativity and influence are also being highlighted through social media challenges that bring out their unique personalities and talents,” said Dr Sean Wong, the national director and licensee of Miss Grand Malaysia.
Also present at the event were Miss Grand International vice president Terese Chaivisut, Miss Grand Malaysia co-director Nadia Shakira, Miss Grand International 2023 Luciana Fuster from Peru, Miss Grand Malaysia 2023 Kash Bhullar and Ceres Jewel CEO Dato Sri Navneet Goenka.
The Miss Grand Malaysia 2024 finale takes place at Galaxy Banquet Hall, Sentul in Kuala Lumpur on August 22, 2024.
The winner of Miss Grand Malaysia 2024 will be presented with jewellery worth RM20,000 sponsored by Ceres Jewels, the official crown sponsor of Miss Grand Malaysia 2024.
She will represent Malaysia on the international stage at the 12th edition of Miss Grand International pageant which will be hosted jointly for the first time in Bangkok, Thailand and Cambodia this October.
