Mahardika Production, an event organizer and talent agency, has officially announced model, TikTok influencer and up-and-coming actor Ahmad Fariz Imran as its latest talent and revealed its consumer products called Luxury Bath Shower Gel and Sambal Bilis Rangup Mr Joe.
The company, owned by Indonesian entertainer and entrepreneur Lucky Joe, made the announcement in a press conference at RE Kitchen Cafe in Wisma Infinitum, Kuala Lumpur on Jan 8, 2024.
“The reason for us to introduce Fariz now is because he will soon be featured as the lead in a 30-episode TikTok short form drama series which we are producing,” said Joe.
The event was also attended by key sponsor and project partner Ismadi Ismail, Miss Asia Malaysia 2023 Ella Anak Apit and Miss Ikon Malaysia 2023 Nur Damia Norzaimee.
“The 4-minute long TikTok episodes will be filmed by experienced videographer Mohd Basri Mohd Ibrahim, and I believe Fariz will make a suitable lead in this unique production” added Joe.
The 26-year-old Fariz has been a model with Mahardika Production for nearly two years. The Selangor resident did his Diploma in Sports Management at the Kolej Poly-Tech Mara (KPTM) in Bangi and is a badminton athlete who has represented Malaysia at the international level.
His father is a retired police officer while his mother is a school teacher. He has two younger siblings.
Fariz has also been appointed as the product ambassador for Mahardika’s Sambal Bilis Rangup Mr Joe which comes in five distinct flavours – Pedas, Blackpepper, Tom Yam, Cili Padi and Kurang Pedas. His image is seen on the Kurang Pedas packaging which is also his preferred flavour.
Also appointed as product ambassador was Nur Damia who is seen on the Cili Padi packaging. Apart from being a secondary school student and reigning beauty queen, the 14-year-old Damia who hails from Seremban is also a teen model, actress and dancer.
The other three flavours Pedas, Tom Yam and Blackpepper see model, athlete and actress Vivi Havira, model and entertainer Cik My and Lucky Joe appeared on the packaging respectively.
All the products which are certified halal and sugar-free, are made ready-to-eat, straight out of the 100g quality sealed package.
Meanwhile, the Luxury Bath shower gels are formulated with six key ingredients – Honey Extract, Essential Argan Oil, Ginkgo Biloba Extract, Avocado Extract, Aloe Vera Extract and Bidara Extract.
Infused with Pro-vitamin B5, it cleans, refreshes, moisturizes and rejuvenates the skin with natural benefits by these fine extracts and oil. It is suitable for all ages, gender and skin types.
The two products, which are currently produced in limited quantities, will be sold initially using social media platforms, especially TikTok.
“We will produce in larger quantities and make available through other retail channels if we receive favourable market response,” added Joe.
The Sambal Bilis Rangup Mr Joe in 100g sealed package will retail for RM15.00 while the Luxury Bath Shower Gel in a 150 ml tube will retail for RM16.00.
