In conjunction with its 30th anniversary celebration and corporate social responsibility role, Jati donated packets of 3-ton rice to 10 charitable homes to help the underprivileged.
Jati, through the Jati Foundation and its production company Serba Wangi Sdn Bhd, also contributed RM3,000 cash to each of the selected charities.
In a statement, Jati said the donation was part of their social responsibility to help others who need assistance.
“This is also in accordance with the fundamental goal of JATI’s 30th anniversary celebration, which is to celebrate this success with people from all walks of life. As a result, Jati hopes that this donation will benefit those who receive it,” said the statement.
“Jati will continue to commit to implementing various humanitarian programmes such as this from time to time through the Jati Foundation and its production company Serba Wangi Sdn Bhd,” it added.
The 10 recipient homes, located in Kuala Lumpur and Selangor, are:

Jati entered the Malaysia Book of Records for producing the heaviest sack of rice weighing 3 tons in conjunction with the 30th anniversary celebration which was held on May 16-22, 2023 at Lot 10 Kuala Lumpur.
The Jati Foundation is a Kedah-based organisation that was founded in 2009 with the primary goal of routing humanitarian aid to target groups and their needs.
Ever since its establishment, the cornerstone of Jati Foundation has always been committed to providing assistance in a variety of ways, including educational assistance, fund contributions and assistance for daily necessities.
Among the contributions provided by Jati Foundation are monthly fund assistance of RM10,000 per month to selected welfare homes, home repairing for villagers in Baling, Kedah and assistance with learning tools at SJK (T) Palanisamy Kumaran, Sungai Petani in 2020.
