Suria KLCC Group brings shoppers into the magical realm of Santa’s Workshop this Christmas season.
Tis the season to be jolly! Close to RM1mil worth of rewards and more await shoppers at Suria KLCC, Alamanda Putrajaya and Mesra Mall.
Santa’s Workshop at Suria KLCC
The Suria KLCC shopping mall is transformed into the fabled “Santa’s Workshop” where Santa Claus and his elves are said to craft toys and presents to be given out during Christmas.
The hub of Santa’s amazing toy workshop can be found at the mall’s centre court throughout the Christmas campaign from now until Dec 25, 2022.
Here, shoppers will be greeted with the sights and sounds befitting a season of joy and merriment. Watch as Santa is assisted by his hard-working elves and mechanical arms in packing presents at the toy-making carousel.
A whimsical clock tower also bursts into life every hour, with festive music featuring adorable elves and nutcrackers in synchronised movements.
This is also where Santa goes through his naughty or nice list.
Shoppers will be able to submit their names on an interactive screen and find out if they made it into Santa’s naughty or nice list to receive a surprise gift which is limited to the first 100 shoppers per day.
A Christmas Card Corner invites shoppers to send the season’s greetings to loved ones with Suria KLCC’s Christmas cards.
Children will be excited to experience the Santa’s Workshop Alive! feature. Here, they can colour their favourite Christmas characters, scan them and watch them come to life on-screen.
During the weekends, shoppers can also meet Santa Claus who will be handing out lollipops to children.
There are fabulous sights and photo opportunities galore with plenty of festive backdrops to capture the mood of the season.
Ramlee Mall at Level 1 features a small-scale Santa’s Workshop, while the Ampang and Ramlee Mall entrances feature counters and shelves where the toys and presents are stored.
Meanwhile, Santa’s sleigh can be found stationed at the Park Mall entrance, poised to deliver gifts.
There is also a Festive Photobooth where shoppers can embody memories with loved ones with complimentary photo print-outs together with e-copies for social media uploads.
The iconic tallest Christmas tree in Malaysia – standing at a whopping 100 feet tall – returns to The Esplanade to greet visitors in all its grandeur.
Not only is it brilliantly lit up and adorned with baubles and ornaments, but it also features an abundance of presents on conveyor belts at its base – an extension of the Santa’s Workshop theme.
A Christmas shopping experience would not be complete without shoppers receiving Christmas rewards.
Shoppers who spend RM1,500 and above in two receipts at any specialty stores from Nov 25 to Dec 18, 2022 will receive a RM100 e-voucher via the Shoppers’ Rewards programme.
Meanwhile, those who spend RM3,000 and above in two receipts at any specialty stores will receive a Pandora bracelet set worth RM600.
“Christmas has always been a special time for us at Suria KLCC as no expense is spared in creating an uplifting festive atmosphere for shoppers.
“However, we also take careful consideration in maintaining safe spaces where people can come together with peace of mind to welcome the year-end festivities.
“At the end of the day, Christmas is so much more than amazing decor and stunning displays. It’s about getting together with loved ones. After making it through the last few turbulent years, we have much to celebrate and be happy for,” said Suria KLCC chief executive officer Andrew Brien.
In an ongoing initiative of the Mental Health Awareness programme, Suria KLCC has pledged to support the Green Ribbon Group through sales of the Suria Ribbon Pin. The ribbon pin can be purchased from the concierge at RM10 per pin.
A treasure of toys at Alamanda Putrajaya
Also happening from 25 November to 25 December 2022, Alamanda Shopping Centre’s Christmas campaign is set to have its very own Santa’s Workshop. The setup in the centre court features bountiful toys on a mechanical conveyor belt.
Here, shoppers will be able to watch magic shows, Christmas dances and Christmas acrobatics.
To brighten festive cheers, shoppers who spend RM500 and above in two receipts at any specialty stores will receive a RM30 shopping voucher. In the High Spender Rewards programme, shoppers who spend RM1,500 and above in two receipts at any specialty stores will receive a RM80 shopping voucher.
On Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, Santa Claus and Mrs Claus will be making an appearance to greet shoppers. Shoppers will get a chance to take photos during the meet-and-greet while children will get free candies.
A selection of Christmas-themed workshops will be held for VIKids. The festive workshops include Gingerbread Man Decoration and Waterless Snow Globes.
Celebrating a White Christmas at Mesra Mall
The Christmas campaign at Mesra Mall in Terengganu will be ushering in the festive season decked to the theme of “White Christmas” from Dec 1 to 25, 2022.
Shoppers on Christmas Day can catch Santa Claus on his two walkabout sessions, one at 3.00pm and another at 5.00pm. At these sessions, children will receive lollipops.
Shoppers will be treated to delightful rewards as part of the Christmas redemption programme. Shoppers who spend RM350 and above in two receipts at any specialty stores are entitled to redeem an exclusive glass storage jar.
Meanwhile, shoppers who spend RM500 and above in two receipts at any specialty stores get a combo set of two 800ml glass storage jars and a RM50 Mesra Mall tenant’s voucher.
