
Golden Destinations Group Berhad has launched its prospectus in conjunction with its upcoming Initial Public Offering (IPO) on the ACE Market of Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad.
The launch event was held at Grand Hyatt Kuala Lumpur on March 26, 2026.
The IPO aims to raise about RM90 million through the issuance of 200 million new shares at an issue price of 45 sen per share, representing a market capitalisation of RM450 million based on an enlarged issued share capital of one billion shares.
Golden Destinations Group managing director Mita Lim said the prospectus launch marks a significant milestone for the group prepares for public listing on the ACE Market.
“With our established industry presence and extensive network of travel partners and agents, the IPO will enable us to strengthen our operational capabilities, enhance our brand presence and further scale our curated travel offerings to meet the growing demand for international travel,” he said.
Lim said the key initiatives for the use of proceeds from the IPO are RM50 million for the establishment of a centralised headquarters to consolidate the company’s operations and support growth; RM13.5 million for branding, marketing and promotional initiatives across Malaysia and Singapore; and RM6 million for funding geographic expansion, including strengthening market presence in East Malaysia and exploring opportunities in the Singapore market.
Other key initiatives focussing on operational support and working capital management include RM4 million for enhancement of IT systems and operational infrastructure; RM6 million for expansion of workforce; and RM4 million for working capital which include staff salaries, benefits and general overheads.
The remaining RM6.5 million will be used to cover listing expenses.
Applications for the IPO is now open and will close at 5pm on April 6, 2026. The listing on the ACE Market is scheduled for April 16, 2026.
