Yoodo customers are able to experience 5G now as the digital telco has rolled out the 5th generation wireless technology for all its users.
In a statement, Yoodo said it is the first mobile virtual network operator (MVNO) to roll out the 5th generation wireless technology.
“Yoodoers with an Android 5G-supported device and subscription to 5G pass will get a free trial for its 5G services from Feb 15 onwards until further notice,” it said.
With 5G live, Yoodo customers can look forward to new immersive user experiences, such as:
- Gaming – With 5G’s faster download and upload speeds and lower latency, online gaming is set to become much more immersive and responsive. Gamers will be able to enjoy smooth, lag-free gaming experiences.
- Live streaming – 5G’s high speeds and low latency will allow for higher quality live streaming, with smoother video and audio and less buffering. This will make it possible to watch or produce live events and streams in real-time, with a level of quality and clarity that was previously not possible.
- Remote Work – 5G’s high speeds and reliability will allow for more seamless remote work and collaboration, enabling remote teams to work together more efficiently and effectively.

To access free 5G trial services, users can subscribe to any high-speed data plan (30 days) from 10GB to 200GB.
Yoodo’s 5G trial pass is currently available for Android devices only but it is working on offering 5G for iOS devices in the near future.
