Suria KLCC shopping mall in Kuala Lumpur is ushering in the Year of the Rabbit in a grand way as it presents Malaysia’s ‘Biggest Rabbit Replica’ made of gold coins, as certified by the Malaysia Book of Records 2023.

This magnificent structure measures 7.5m in height at the KLCC Esplanade, and features auspicious cherry blossoms and vibrant peony flowers.

It also features the Golden Nugget “Yuan Bao” accompanied by the rest of the other 11 Chinese zodiacs.

The colour of the rabbit itself symbolises “gold”, making it significant during this festive period, signifying prosperity and good luck.

“The rabbit in the Chinese Zodiac manifests vigilance, dignity, quick wit and fertility. In honour of this graceful animal and the virtues it represents, we are commemorating the Year of the Rabbit in a grand way for visitors to soak up the festive atmosphere and capture the moments with this larger-than-life rabbit,” said Suria KLCC Sdn Bhd chief executive officer Andrew Brien.

He added: “We are so proud to see another new record is set and milestone marked by Suria KLCC for achieving Malaysia’s Biggest Rabbit Replica.”

The record-breaking installation is now on display until February 5. In the evening, the installation will be illuminated.
