Charity concert raises RM6.5 million for a new multi-purpose school hall

The Tiger Chinese Education Charity Concert raised RM6.5 million for SJKC Ying Wah, Kapar to build a new multi-purpose school hall.

Heineken Malaysia Bhd once again hosted its annual social impact program, the Tiger Chinese Education Charity Concert (Tiger CECC) this time at SJKC Ying Wah, Kapar.

The charity concert dinner successfully raised over RM6.5 million from donors who contributed to the school for the construction of a new multi-purpose school hall.

SJKC Ying Wah presented a token of appreciation to Heineken Malaysia managing director Roland Bala.

Heineken Malaysia Bhd managing director Roland Bala said the company’s long and enduring partnership through Tiger Sin Chew Chinese Education Charity Concert has raised over RM361 million for schools since 1994.

“Through the Tiger CECC platform, we believe we are able to inspire a better world by allowing the schools to flourish and thrive through an improved educational environment,” he said.

Artistes who performed at the charity dinner concert included Victor Lee, Yee Yee and Tan Kheng Seon, popularly known by his stage name Ah Niu.
