Camel Active opens SE Asia’s first flagship store in LaLaport Bukit Bintang, KL

Camel Active, the renowned international outdoor casual lifestyle brand, has opened its South East Asia’s first flagship store in LaLaport BBCC, Kuala Lumpur on Feb 29, 2024.

It also launched C by Camel Active, an expansion of the brand targeted at the young urban male and female consumers.

The event featured a fashion show held at the mall’s main concourse, showcasing the Spring/Summer 2024 collections from Camel Active and C by Camel Active.

Spanning 2,400 sq ft, the store will leverage on the latest collections of apparel, footwear, bags and accessories from Camel Active and C by Camel Active.

CLT Asia Sdn Bhd managing director Jason Tan said they were delighted to open Camel Active’s doors in LaLaport mall with indoor and outdoor activities that aligned to the spirit of the Camel Active brand.

“Came Active has a rich heritage of blending urban and outdoor influences and this new store is a testament to our commitment to providing customers with a unique shopping experience and a diverse range of products that effortlessly brings out the brand’s unique attributes,” he said at the event.

Also present at the event were Vincent Xu, director of Worldwide Brands Inc, the brand principal from Germany; Joe Ng, managing director of Camel Active (M) Sdn Bhd; Eddie Chong, creative director of Larrie Corp (M) Sdn Bhd; Vivien Ooi, marketing director of Larrie Corp (M) Sdn Bhd and TS Lim, general manager for merchandising from Travel for All Marketing Sdn Bhd.

Customers can look forward to an immersive experience featuring a glamping set-up, in-store workshops and explore camel active and C by Camel Active signature collections. 

C by Camel Active aims to encourage sustainable living by supporting the preservation of Taman Tugu, a 66-acre forest park in Kuala Lumpur.

The brand will devote 10% of sales from C by Camel Active limited-edition items to the “Adopt a Tree” initiative, spearheaded by the National Heritage Trust.

Camel Active’s Spring/Summer 2024 collection draws inspiration from the diverse landscapes and vibrant hues found in nature, and provides a wardrobe that transitions from urban landscapes to outdoor escapades. The collection features muted colour tones and vibrant hues, catering for diversity of individual styles.

The Spring/Summer 2024 collection by C by Camel Active focuses on modern, streetwear-inspired tailoring and design. This collection showcases a range of tees in vibrant and monochromatic hues alongside elevated light cargo pants boasting modern fits and cuts. The urban and trendy overshirts draws inspiration from the dynamic lifestyles of city youth, adding a stylish flair to the ensemble.
