The Big Bad Wolf Book Sale is making a return to Kuala Lumpur at the Mines International Exhibition & Convention Centre (MIECC) this December after a two-year hiatus from the last physical book sale in the city.
From December 20, 2022 till January 2, 2023 the world’s biggest book sale promises more than 3.5 million books and discounts up to 95% off on selected books.
The 16-hour book sale at MIECC will stay open from 10:00 am to 2:00 am every day.
What’s more, Big Bad Wolf Books is partnering with local publishers to bring an array of educational and entertainment Malay-language book titles, from Kualiti Books, IMAN Shoppe, Prestasi, PTS, Pustaka Azhar, Sasbadi and many more.
Featuring a wide variety of books in English, Malay and Chinese, organized by category, the sale also features a Luck Draw for customers who spend minimum RM200 in a single receipt, where five winners will be picked daily to win a RM50 voucher. One lucky winner will walk home with the Grand Prize of a trolley full of books.
Every minimum spend of RM250 in a single receipt will allow customers to join the “Spend, Share & Win” contest, where the winner will take home a gaming PC worth RM6,999.
As part of the Big Bad Wolf Books corporate social responsibility initiative, the Red Readerhood (RRH) program is collaborating with Friends to Mankind Malaysia, an NGO and Project AIME, a Malaysian-based youth-led activist group, to donate books to several orphanages in Malaysia.
“The RRH program is our way of giving back to the community by working with local organizations and donating books to those in need and as part of the company’s primary mission – ‘Changing The World, One Book At A Time’.
“To continue our mission to spread the joy of reading and support local communities, Big Bad Wolf Books is pledging 500 books each to Friends to Mankind Malaysia and Project AIME,” said Big Bad Wolf Books co-founder Jacqueline Ng.
“We also like to invite and encourage our customers and visitors to the book sale to be part of the book donation drive by choosing and donating a book or two from the Red Readerhood corner,” added Ng.
