Splash Out Langkawi is the island’s first water theme park with enough thrills and spills to keep adrenaline enthusiasts happy all day.
Inspired by coastal architecture and a nautical theme, this water park has thrilling rides, delicious bites and a bounty of keepsakes.
The park which borders the Andaman Sea occupies a 12-acre park in Kuah Town, just 15 km from Langkawi International Airport. The RM60 million project was launched by the Halim Mazmin Group in 2019.

Rides and attractions
With 12 maritime-inspired attractions on site, visitors are in for a splashing adventure.
Among the fun-filled attractions are Sprinkle Island, an interactive playground with a gigantic water sprinkler, and the Big Splash Kingdom, where kids can eagerly anticipate being drenched by 250 litres of water every couple of minutes.
Those who prefer to take it easy, can jump into the 6ft deep Wild Water for a chill splash session or float along the River of Life for a serene escape.
Exhilarating rides such as Ragin’ Racers, and the Perfect Storm are ideal for thrill seekers. Let your screams out as you race down at a speed of 50km per hour and drift across a tilted funnel-shaped surface with kaleidoscopic twists.
Journey down the Splash-Tacular where hydro jets boost you up a sudden incline at top speed or venture into the intergalactic Poseidon’s Revenge for an immersive experience through dark tunnels coupled with visual effects.
Splash-Twister and Splash-Python are not for the faint-hearted. These adrenaline-pumping rides will have you spiralling down like a rollercoaster.
To really give your heart a workout, check out Shipwreck Falls, among the most extreme rides here featuring sharp drops, steep uphill climbs and a splashing finale.
If speedy rides and sudden loops are not your thing, the Rainbow Rider is an exciting experience that is perfect for all ages.
Refreshments
Take a break to replenish your energy at the Seafarers Haven Food Court which offer a wide range of quick options from fast food favourites to burgers to local delights.
For quick bites of pastries and cakes or hot beverages, there is the East India Coffee & Tea Company, or swing by one of the F&B kiosks around the water park for snacks, fruit juice or a refreshing scoop of ice cream.
To keep hydrated, Refuel is a convenient pit stop which offers juices, sodas and isotonic drinks.
Gift shop
Visitors can pick up some souvenirs and merchandise such as toys, accessories and fashion items to take home as keepsakes at the Bass Harbour Outpost and Supply.
Other amenities
Facilities include lockers, changing rooms, a nursing room for mothers, a first-aid station, a prayer room and even gazebos for rent.
Those looking to cut down on travel time can check in to Bella Vista Waterfront Langkawi, located adjacent to Splash Out Langkawi and is only 5 minutes away on foot. Better known as “The Castle,” the hotel sits amid 14 acres of lush landscaped gardens with 360° views of the Andaman Sea and Kuah town.

Opens every Wednesday to Sunday from 11am to 7pm.
Admission Rates
Adult tickets are priced at RM75 (13-60 years)
Children 12 years old and below are priced at RM55.
Children below 90cm in height get free admission.
Senior citizen tickets are priced at RM40 (above 60 years old).
MyKad holders are entitled to a special rate at RM50 for adults and RM35 for children.
