The World of DC Exhibition opens at Tropicana Gardens Mall Dec 23 – April 1, 2023

Meet Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman and more at “The World of DC Exhibition” at Tropicana Gardens Mall, Petaling Jaya.

DC fans can meet their favourite super heroes and super-villains at “The World of DC Exhibition” at Tropicana Gardens Mall, Petaling Jaya from December 23 till April 1, 2023.

Th exhibition is the first launch in Asia by Warner Bros. Discovery Global Themed Entertainment and Beast Kingdom.

Organized locally by WOW Event Asia, this all-new exhibition features movie props, concept art, costumes, life-size exhibits and interactive elements, along with exclusive merchandise celebrating iconic DC Super Heroes including Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman and Aquaman together with super-villains such as Harley Quinn, Joker and El Diablo.

“With the reopening of borders, we are seeing an increasing number of exciting events across the Selangor state. As the gateway to Malaysia, we are proud to host international events such as “The World of DC Exhibition”.

“Events like this have the pull factor for the tourism industry as well as the potential to drive economic growth, retail expansion and community engagement across all ages and backgrounds.

“We hope to see domestic and international tourist arrivals continue to rise as a pillar of the state’s economy,” said Selangor Mentri Besar Dato’ Seri Amirudin Shari in his speech at Tropicana Gardens Mall Convention Centre during the grand launch of the “The World of DC Exhibition” on Dec 22, 2022.

Visitors can experience the excitement of wielding superpowers through interactive showcases such as Aquaman’s Aquarium.

Also present at the launch were Beast Kingdom Southeast Asia general manager Yee Shiuh Lam, Tropicana Group managing director Dion Tan, WOW Event Asia executive director Mary Koh and director Wong Jyb Sheng, and Tropicana Gardens Mall managing director Andrew Ashvin.

“Riding on the global success of DC cinematic blockbusters such as Batman, Aquaman, Man of Steel and Wonder Woman, we have put together “The World of DC Exhibition”, bringing these iconic characters to life,” said Koh.

“The World of DC Exhibition” features seven themed zones centred around specific characters and themes. These range from the Dawn of Justice, featuring Superman and Batman, to the Rise of SuperVillains, highlighting the Birds of Prey and Suicide Squad, as well as a retail merchandise area.

The children of TiRatana Welfare Society and Rumah Kasih Harmoni were all smiles as they were brought to Tropicana Gardens Mall Convention Centre to experience the exhibition by the joint effort of Tropicana Foundation and WOW Event Asia.

The themed zones include fan-favourite vehicles and gadgets, including Superman’s emblematic blue and red suit, Batman’s Batmobile, Knight Crawler, Bat-Signal and Wonder Woman’s costumes.

Fans can experience the interactive attractions to bring the excitement of wielding superpowers such as Wonder Woman’s Training Field and Aquaman’s Aquarium.

In addition, there are an array of Instagram-worthy spots, including Suicide Squad’s Graffiti Wall and photo opportunities with the Lasso of Truth and El Diablo.

Tickets for ‘The World of DC Exhibition’ are priced at RM38 for children aged three to 12 years, RM55 for MyKad holders, RM65 for non-MyKad holders and RM150 for express tickets. Children below three years old enter for free.
