Nescafe unveils Community Room at KLIA, distributes 5,000 drinks to airport staff on Labour Day

In conjunction with Labour Day on May 1, 2026, Nescafe collaborated with Malaysia Airports Holdings Bhd to unveil a newly refurbished community room at KLIA Terminal 1, Sepang and distributed over 5,000 complimentary drinks to airport staff.

The activation was part of the “Ngopi Dulu, Kekal Bersemangat Bersama” (Have a Coffee First, Remain Determined Together) campaign aimed to celebrate airport frontliners and help them recharge during demanding shifts.

 “Continuing our spirit from 2025’s Ngopi Dulu campaign, Nescafe is here to support the KLIA community, especially those who work tirelessly to ensure smooth airport operations every day.

“Airport operations move at a fast pace and are filled with challenges.

“Therefore, Labour Day is the perfect platform for us to celebrate your commitment and empower your spirit that keeps you going strong through long and demanding days,” said Nestle Malaysia chief executive officer Juan Aranols.

The Nescafe Community Room gives the airport teams a comfortable space to relax, connect and recharge. This includes a Nestle vending machine where the airport staff can have access to hot and cold Nescafe coffees, Milo, KitKat and Maggi.

Throughout the day, over 5,000 cans of Nescafe were handed out to frontline personnel, ensuring they stayed energized on the go.

The celebratory atmosphere was heightened with a surprise live performance by Malaysian singer Black Hanifah.
