Resorts World Genting’s Starlight Festival 2023 returns from September 14 to October 7, promising four weekends of entertainment extravaganza and cheer under the stars.
The open-air carnival combines dazzling lights, festive decorations, delectable food and drinks and live performances, and takes place at Madison Square, Gohtong Way on every Thursday till Saturday from 6pm till 12am for the duration of the festival.
Stroll down Gohtong Way to the gigantic LED-lit star-shaped entrance of Madison Square, and beneath a cloak of stars enjoy the joie de vivre of the festival, everything from live music to entertainment to Danish beer and Bavarian-style dishes such as crispy pork knuckle, onion rings and grilled German sausages.
The festival kicks off the first week (Sept 14-16) with live performances by artistes Raymond Ng and party band Alan S., Lenny, Kenny Low and Elva with Best of Cantopop, and Alan and Min, alongside DJs Felix and MC Richard.
Week 2 (Sept 21-23) features artistes Winnie Goh and Lyee Cheok, Kelson Ng and Min, and Alex and Daniel, as well as DJs Felix and MC LadyAnna.
Starlight presents Beyond Tribute in Week 3 (Sept 28-30) with acts by Sharon Wong and Kai, supported by party band, Alan S. and Lenny together with DJs LadyAnna and MC Milli.
Wrapping up the festivities in Week 4 (Oct 5-7) are artistes Ena Hon and Boon Ong, FABBAand Beatlemaniawithsupporting acts, Justin & Lenny and Justin & Min, together with DJs Reeve, Wasabi, Maq, Amber Na and Jenna.
Starlight Festival 2023 is a free admission event with Madison Square festivities restricted to non-Muslims aged 21 and above.
