Sharp Electronics Malaysia and Nojima Malaysia have launched a strategic collaboration to redefine modern living, featuring a “Japanese Living Hub” at LaLaport Bukit Bintang City Centre, Kuala Lumpur.

The partnership highlights a holistic home ecosystem, bringing authentic Japanese design, advanced technology and “omotenashi” (hospitality) service directly into Malaysian homes under the “Japanese Living to My Home” concept.

The collaboration showcases curated kitchen, living and laundry spaces, reflecting modern Japanese aesthetics, focusing on comfort, functionality, and space-saving, and includes a “living experience” roadshow.

Sharp Electronics Malaysia managing director Ting Yang Chung said the company is focusing on a strategy of being a “reliable, premium and value-driven brand” to stand out in the consumer electronics market, which is increasingly flooded with low-cost and low-quality alternatives
“We want consumers to have superior choices which they can trust and Japanese brands represent integrity and excellence,” he said at the launching ceremony at the main atrium, LaLaport Bukit Bintang City Centre on April 29, 2026.

Meanwhile, Nojima APAC Pte Ltd director Tomonori Amma said consumers can expect a retail experience that goes beyond the acquisition of a product.z
“Our collaboration with Sharp allows us to present Japanese technology and lifestyle solutions in a way that is interactive, engaging and meaningful for Malaysians,” he said.

Sharp has introduced its latest J-Tech Inverter technology, featuring an enhanced five-year warranty to address rising electricity costs and the growing work-from-home trend in Malaysia.

Ting pointed out this commitment would provide long-term peace of mind, reliable performance, and significant savings for Malaysian households without compromising on comfort.

Visitors can experience the Sharp x Nojima The Living Experience Showcase from April 28 to May 12, 2026, through immersive displays of Sharp’s latest home appliances, featuring innovations like Plasmacluster Ion Technology (PCI) for air purification and Biomimetic Technology in new appliances.

The Sharp x Nojima Japanese Living Hub hosts weekly lifestyle workshops and interactive sessions to engage visitors and provide hands-on experience with Sharp’s latest technologies.
