Pos Malaysia launches CNY ‘Setem Ku’ Year of the Dragon collection

A sheetlet of five stamps featuring a dragon illustration and the Chinese character for “dragon” with a golden appearance made by hot stamping technique, visuals of the dragon, a festive celebration with drum performance, and Lunar New Year greetings written in Chinese.

Pos Malaysia has launched an exclusive stamp collection featuring the mythological dragon, in conjunction with the Chinese New Year 2024 celebration being the Year of the Dragon.

The dragon is one of the 12 animals represented in the Chinese zodiac which symbolises luck and success.

This limited-edition CNY festive ‘Setem Ku’ set, retailing at RM28.00 each contains a sheetlet of five stamps specially crafted for the festive occasion.

One stamp features a dragon illustration and the Chinese character for “dragon”, with a golden appearance made by hot stamping technique.

The remaining strip of four stamps contains visuals of the dragon, a festive celebration with drum performance, and Lunar New Year greetings written in Chinese.

Each set also includes an envelope with the stamps already affixed.
A red folder featuring Chinese character “loong” (dragon) is included for this collection.
