Pos Malaysia has launched an exclusive stamp collection featuring the mythological dragon, in conjunction with the Chinese New Year 2024 celebration being the Year of the Dragon.
The dragon is one of the 12 animals represented in the Chinese zodiac which symbolises luck and success.
This limited-edition CNY festive ‘Setem Ku’ set, retailing at RM28.00 each contains a sheetlet of five stamps specially crafted for the festive occasion.
One stamp features a dragon illustration and the Chinese character for “dragon”, with a golden appearance made by hot stamping technique.
The remaining strip of four stamps contains visuals of the dragon, a festive celebration with drum performance, and Lunar New Year greetings written in Chinese.
To make sending greetings easy, each set also includes a greeting card and an envelope with the stamps already affixed, ready to post to loved ones for this auspicious Year of the Dragon.

The collection will be available at retail starting Feb 9, 2024 while stocks last at all 90 philatelic bureaus nationwide, including 13 general post offices.
