Home improvement retailer MR D.I.Y. Group (M) Bhd is inviting residents of Klang Valley to unleash their creativity at two Christmas activities which it is hosting at MR DIY Plus outlet at Mid Valley Megamall, Kuala Lumpur this weekend Dec 17-18, 2022.
1. Colouring contest – Dec 17, 2022
MR DIY is partnering with an art learning centre, Global Art Malaysia again to hold a “Christmas Colouring Contest” at MR DIY Plus, Mid Valley Megamall on December 17, 2022.
The colouring contest for children is open in two categories: Category A (5-8 years old) and Category B (9-12 years old).
Prize of more than RM1,500 cash vouchers await the winners.

2. Acrylic painting workshop – Dec 18, 2022
Be prepared to create your own acrylic artwork. MR DIY is partnering with art and creative workshop organizer Miyazakiya again to hold a “Christmas Acrylic Painting Workshop” at MR DIY Plus, Mid Valley Megamall on December 18, 2022.
The one-day workshop will cover the basics of acrylic painting, such as mixing colors on the palette and the canvas, as well as making gradients of color. Participants will learn how to paint scenery, plants or animals on canvas with the fully provided painting tools.
The workshop is open to everyone, even those without any art or acrylic painting experience.
There are two workshop packages on offer: RM35 (20cm x 20cm size canvas) and RM75 (30cm x 40cm size canvas).
