Berjaya Times Square unveils murals by local artists  

The mural titled “Hailing the Putu Mayam Seller for a Snack”, one of several colourful murals depicting Malaysian culture and heritage can be found at the lower ground floor East and first floor East of Berjaya Times Square Kuala Lumpur.

Berjaya Times Square Kuala Lumpur (BTSKL) has unveiled a series of murals titled “Our Murals, Our Culture”, which showcases Malaysian culture and heritage.

The interactive Insta-worthy wall murals draws inspiration from the various aspects of Malaysian life in the 80s and 90s.

Various local artists were commissioned by BTSKL to hand draw the murals which can be found at the lower ground floor East and first floor East.

BTSKL is celebrating the unveiling of the colourful murals with various digital and on-ground activities aimed to reward visitors.

Three murals in particular, located at the lower ground floor East are AR enabled for visitors to express their creativity and share it on Instagram.

Shoppers are invited to snap mural photos for “Snap & Win” contest and stand a chance to win a 3D2N stay at The Taaras Beach & Spa Resort, cliff bay suite in Redang Island, Terengganu.

All they have to do is post a collection of photos or reels of themselves with the mural arts background expressing their creativity and bringing the murals to life on their Instagram; and tag @berjayatimessquarekl, hashtag #BTSKLMural and follow BTSKL.

Every week, from June 20 – July 17, 2022, ten of the best photos or reels will stand a chance to win RM200 worth of vouchers from Starbucks, GSC Cinemas, Thai Odyssey and Cosway.

At the end, two of the 40 weekly winners will stand a chance to win the Grand Prize of a 3D2N stay at the luxurious Taaras Beach & Spa Resort, cliff bay suite in Redang Island.

In addition, there will be weekly prizes and redemptions worth over RM10,000.

Every weekend from July 22 – August 9, 2022, shoppers can scan the QR code to instantly redeem shopping deals and rewards from participating outlets at BTSKL.
